A Rather Horrifying Theory Regarding what Sarah sees.

The other day I talked to a forum member on what Sarah sees. This is what I think happens.

Okay in the trailer, we see that Carlos is barely in it. There may be a reason. In the trailer you see Clem looking over the roof and she's splatter blood on the ground, and if you look closely you see a blood trail of what seems to be dragged. My theory is that Carlos was pushed down off the roof, not Reggie. Reggie was the one that pushed him off. Maybe there's a reason why Reggie does it, but the problem is I don't know why. Anyway the reason why you see Carver so pissed off is because he need Carlos for the birth. And since he's dead, he beats up Reggie to death.

So anyway, when Clem and Sarah are outside, Sarah trips over something, she then looks down and what she sees is a zombified Carlos crawling next to her feet. She is horrified on what she sees and screams.

This would then lead to the final choice of the episode; you can either kill the zombified Carlos which leads to less time to escape or you can just run away and have a better chance in escaping. If you kill Carlos, Sarah will remember you put him out his misery and she doesn't need to worry about the fact that he's a Walker. Or if you leave him, Sarah will be frustrated that you didn't put him down.

Either way this will affect the beginning of Episode 4 and also your friendship with Sarah for the remainder of the season.

    I don't see Reggie as the type who would do that...but ack, anything can happen with Telltale.

    Anyway, interesting theory!

    Good theory. I agree with you on Regi, he seems "too nice" to be a good person.

    I don't know if Sarah is fully aware of what the world really is right now. since Carlos has been "shielding" her for the truth. afraid that she might "cease to function". maybe she has indeed seen Carlos zombified. and it seriously messed up her mind, leaving her terrified..

    Anyway that is a nice theory!

    Just adding on to your theory, what if Carver asks Reggie to kill Carlos? But he kills Carlos before Rebecca's given birth? Reggie seems like he's the one that doesn't want to leave the camp on my opinion so he may just listen to anything Carver says. Great theory by the way.

    The only problem I have with this theory is that I really don't see Reggie killing Carlos. His VA said he's a good guy and doesn't die in this episode and I reckon he'll become a (semi-)permanent part of our group.

    I do think it could be Carlos' body what causes Sarah to scream though.

    Interesting theory, I can very well see this happening. Reggie seems like a nice guy, but he can obviously be lying and end up being evil.

    Saying such a thing about an item used to brutally murder someone's parent in front of them is rather dark.

    It is dark ,but I'm saying if clem needs to do it then do it with a saltlick instead of a crow bar or something that will need multiple hits to get the job done, so sarah dosnt see her dad put down slowly do it with a saltlick fast

    Interesting situation. If that were a choice, then I wouldn't put Carlos down. I hate leaving friends and group members as walkers, but the people who are still alive have to come first, and giving Carlos a mercy kill has to potential to get both Clem and Sarah killed in that scenario. Plus, I'm sure Carlos would understand. The last thing he would ever want is to be even the slightest bit responsible for Sarah being put in danger.

    My canon clem has been mean to Sarah so far, but I think i'd have to put down Carlos.
