Lilly's affection for Clementine.

  • On the contrary, Lee's past as a murderer should matter. If he's demonstrated that he can kill before the fall of civilization, then it's entirely reasonable to assume that he would kill again in a world with no rules or laws. Larry was right to distrust him, though I do believe that attempting to murder Lee after Lee saved his life was wrong.

Why did you post this twice?
And you are right, 18 year old's are still kids.
Yes, legally they may be adults, but they're still only kids.

With that in mind, it's funny how Ben is still just a kid, and yet there are those who insinuate that Clementine, who's only 11, is old enough to be on her own and no longer needs a guardian.
There's something wrong with that thinking!
Granted, Clementine is tough, but she is way to young to be on her own.

Larry does save Lee's life later on though,if you give him the axe at the beginning of EP2 and picked Doug [Carley kill steals from him if she's alive].

Mentally unstable? I don't know if I would go that far, I work part time in a psyche ward and all I can say is Lilly didn't strike me as that mentally unstable, even when she shot Carly/Doug. She was grieving her father and under a lot of stress but I don't think it mental instability.

Not everything has to be about what she was driven to do. She was a nice person before she became mentally unstable.

  • That's later on. He immediately tries to murder Lee after Lee saved his life in the first Episode, and he doesn't get around to making up for that until several months later. That ain't right in my book.

  • The same can happen with Mark or (if saved) Carley though.

He wasn't so much trying to save Lee as he was trying to kill the walker.

  • Lilly had a very big-sisterly attitude towards Clementine. I think if they reunited Clementine might be a little standoffish, though I'd like to think all the times Lilly was supportive and kind to Clementine would outweigh those last moments.

I think Lilly was overwhelmed by her position of authority and all of the loss she experienced. If she was taking care of Clementine by herself or just with Lee, she would be very capable and very dedicated, kind of on Christa's level.
  • Actually, that was the moment I really started to respect Larry. I mean, it was the perfect opportunity to let Lee die with no risk, reward or effort on Larry's part, yet he still tried to save him.

  • That might be because of her distaste towards Kenny though...

I don't like Lilly for what she did to Carley/Doug, but if i'm honest I thought she was a good person before that happened and if I ever move pass the Carley/Doug thing, i'd completely grow to like her character again.

She never was like that with Duck. I think she almost sympathetised with her not having her parents around and not knowing where they are.

  • Hmmm, yeah that would make sense.. I don't like Lilly for what she did to Carley/Doug either, but she never gave us a chance to redeem her. If she shows up I won't be very friendly off the bat!

It would be nice to see her again
  • I think Lily could of been... kind of a "nicer" character I guess you could say, but we never see her good side, like at all.

Yeah I think Lilly cared for everyone in the group but people just didn't like her.

  • Yeah, imagine if lily bashed ducks and katjas head in with a salt lick because they were a "danger" (I dont know how they would be, use your imagination), I bet Kenny would totally snap like Lily did. Probably even worse since he couldn't even put his own son down honorably without going a bit crazy

I find it pretty funny that all those traits perfectly describe both Lilly and Kenny :D

Ha, I know right? Those two are really two sides of the same coin.

This similarity in particular I found pretty hilarious: 'That includes bringing up old problems and/or disagreements, even if they happened years ago, guilt tripping, or even outright bullying attempts.'

"Maybe Kat and Duck can have an easier life on the St. John's farm..."
"You didn't seem so worried about Duck back on Hershel's farm THREE MONTHS ago, LEE. Despite the fact that you subsequently saved countless lives and consistently looked out for the well-being of my family... YOU MONSTER."
