Is season 2 the redemption of..?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
Kenny was/is a fan-favorite (hell he is one of my fav's), he came back in ep 2. And while he seems ok physically, he seems kinda strange mentally. So, here's my guess: someway or another Kenny wants to redeem himself for (in his eyes, failing to protect his child and his wife), it's obvious that he acts this odd because of everything that happend to him and this new girlfriend of his is one way of him trying to forget about the past. Yet, the past won't let him go. I do have a feeling he will die a glorious death redeeming himself totally.

Now, moving on to the two last episodes. Let's just say Kenny is dead by the end of episode 3. Maybe, just maybe we will find Lilly, now comes redemption number 2. A lot of people hated her for killing Carly, I did. But what would you guys say if she came back too, and redeemed herself?

It's not like this zombie apocalypse makes everyone think 100% rationally, there was a little bit of logic behind Lilly's killing Carly (even though it was not fully justified in my opinion). And even after all, losing a dad in the most horrible way ever does not make it easier.

I like Kenny in season 1 even though you alway's had to side with him to get good attitude Kenny
Season 2 Kenny also seem's to be good Kenny umtil the argument between Kenny vs Luke and Nick where he only want's to take Clem from cabin group so he can replace Duck
I like Kenny but I do not trust him as a guardian

Me neither, but I trully believe his story arc is coming to an end soon. It's the direction Telltale is taking him that makes me believe this. The one reason they brought him back in season 2 in the first place was because he was so populair, I don't think the original writers planned on keeping him alive in season 2, some writers left Telltale if I remember correctly shortly after season 1?

  • Naw, Kenny got plot invincibility 'til at least EP5.

They wanna build a rivalry with Luke so we'll have to choose between the two.
  • They never confirmed his death, no statement was made. Unless you have proof that will show that I'm wrong, I stand by my point.

The only statement I ever saw was that Kenny's fate "will be explored in Season 2", nothing more.

  • He redeemed himself in episode 5. He got a great exit. He should have stayed dead.
  • I dont have the proof although I heard somone say it and that they had proof
Not sure if they were telling the truth tho, but I thought I write a comment on it if it was true
