I liked S2's Clem more as well. But not because it's more realistic, I saw in her what i was like when i was her age. Always doing what adults are incapable of doing, Challenging odds and defeating them. And it's good to see a bunch of people who agree with me, Unpopular opinions unite.
I don't like Nick. He tried to kill a child (altough he did apoligize later), and then killed a man who wasn't pointing a gun at us (I don't know he thought he did), even after Luke told him not to go to the bridge.
I know loads of people say that if there was a zombie apocalypse in real life they would run out with chainsaws and start killing zombies but in reality most of us (including me) would probably be shitting themselves.
Oh, I'm so much with this. Think about it, Ben is a) a kid b) far from his family and c) nervous by nature. I'm surprised at all the hate he gets, because yeah, he made mistakes but he was never cruel, never did anything but want to help (except maybe with that running from Clementine thing but that felt really weird and out of place imo). I am definitely not the sharpest tool and I can imagine being in his shoes and reacting similarly to many of the events.
His heart was clearly in the right place, and I think he deserves some credit for that.
I liked Ben. I felt like he was the representation of what most people would be like when faced with such pressure and gloom every single day of their lives in the apocalypse.
I don't care about Christa , at all. Or Omid for that matter.
I still dislike Rebecca after episode 2
I enjoyed Roman's character.
Many peope want to see Lilly (or Molly...you get my point) back in S2...but let's be honest , it would feel cheap if every character that wasn't "dead" kept appearing like that, finding Kenny was enough
I don't dislike Ben as a character , in fact i think he is a nice one...but i hate how the writers used him as a way to create bad situations every single time in order to advance the plot. I know fuck-ups exist i'm one myself, but man...
I found Carley annoying, somehow.
Hubs, done right are awesome, abuse them and they become a pain in the ass

Starved For Help was not only NOT my favourite episode, it was one of my least favourite episodes of the entire series. While one of my favourites was Around Every Corner.
No hear me out. I didn't like Larry. I didn't hate him either. I…respected him. I tried to view things from a fatherly standpoint, and could see where he was coming from as far as protecting Lilly at the dairy farm (and we all know what lengths he was willing to go to protect the ones he cared about).
"I don't give a shit about you. But if anything happens to my daughter or that girl you've got, heh, you watch your ass."
Speaking of his ass, there's still lots of charm coming out of it.
I wouldn't say that Kenny appearing was a dead character coming back to life. It really makes sense that he survived the walkers, leaving behind a dead Ben, or if he didn't go with you, he just disappeared. And if he's just been on his own for a while, it's not so weird he's still alive. I mean, since he either could help save Clem in S01 or just run away, they couldn't really kill him could they?

I liked Kenny. Kind of. I got him, and I get why he did the things he did. But then said, he helped me when it came to Clem and was nice to me, if he wasn't I probably wouldn't have liked him.. I'd still understand him though.
I liked Lilly. I found Carley sort of, unnecessary. But then again, that's not so weird, as you could choose to save her she couldn't have the greatest impact on the show.
I really, really liked Chuck. And I thought he deserved a better ending than he got.
Didn't like Clem at first, like her much better now. Except for her snarkiness at times.
I'm not saying that he was dead nor that anyone else i mentioned is. What i mean is that those characters had an unknown fate. I'm happy Kenny is back, i knew he would be, and it was my favorite moment in Season 2.. But having more people coming back would be just ridiculous.

Well my main gripe with was the fact that each of the stories were only like 15-20 minutes each so when I'm starting to get into the story BOOM! I'm tossed back to the board full of pictures...
Really? Most of the complaining I've heard about Season 2 (other than the waits between episodes) have been along the lines of "I hate sassy/hardened/manipulative Season 2 Clem. I don't like how they changed her character. That's not MY Clem."
Maybe it's just not as widespread as I would have believed. That's actually nice to hear. Season 1 Clem was great, and any time she was in danger I was freaking out as much as the next person. However, she was SO perfect for the most part that she wasn't exactly the most well-rounded character. Season 2 Clem feels much more like a real person. As much as some people hate the "darker" elements of Clem that have been introduced this season, it really helps flesh out her character and make her more three dimensional.
My Lee was a saint, and yet he still treated him like he was some monster. They should have done it differently if we played Lee in a way that didn't wrong the Stranger in any way.
I swear he was so bent on finding BS reasons to hate on Lee, that I thought he was going to call me a monster unworthy of raising Clem because Lee said once in EP1 that he'd "fill one of those cups with some bourbon if he could".
"I'M NOT LIKE YOU , LEE. BOURBON IS A BEVERAGE CRAFTED OUT OF SATAN'S BLOOD! YOU MONSTER!"

The stranger was the weakest part of the last episode of season one. I wasn't impressed.
I chose Carley but I didn't like the idea of her with Lee. I just could tell that they focused more on her character development and content than they did Doug. She was the obvious favored character.
I think Sarah is actually handling everything better than one would expect considering her circumstances. She's holding up incredibly well all things considered.
I'm not a fan of how adult all the other characters treat Clem. It makes them less sympathetic, to me. And that's pretty much the entirety of the cast so far. The reason I like Bonnie more now is that she actually acted like a damn adult and recognized Clementine's age. Clem may have seen and been through a lot but she's still a child.
I was never enamored with Molly. I thought she was kind of a tryhard character. She was redeemed a bit when they humanized her with her sister. Jane seems like a more intense Molly and that makes me dislike her more.

2.) The more mature Clementine is a realistic improvement.
3.) Duck didn't annoy me.

Not even joking. That is some contrived BS.

I don't like forcing Clem to watch Carver die.
