  • I wanna get all the achievements tho.

    Just lower the difficulty bro.

  • I got one of my buddies on Steam to give it a try. He picked up the whole of Season 1 and 400 Days during a Steam sale and liked it. He's decided to wait until Season 2 is finished to get it, but he made me promise to tell him if Kenny lived or not. That's strange, as he has a case of Spoilerphobia that's about as big as mine.
  • Haha, yep! We're all cool people.

Meh, me too. Not the same without them. :p But [High five] anyways! c:

See, this is why your cool people to me. You get the awesomeness of it! :p [Insert high five Gif here] Man, I wish the tools were back, haha.

  • You pretty much just have to jam on all the buttons at once hoping the game figures out what you're trying to do.

Got my brother to play the game, my sister played the first 2 episodes but stopped (IDK what the fuck is wrong with her!)

Then my friends have the attention span of toddlers so they don't play it instead all they talk about is the new COD...

My sister and my friends will never know where the fucking river is....
  • OBJECTION! GTA isn't a bad game but I rather play Phoenix Wright or TWD than GTA.

My friends think TWD and Phoenix Wright are boring, probably because it's not *cough*GTA*cough*.

  • Lol, we all have to be, sometimes there's no choice but to be mean. How else are you going to keep the people you don't like away?! Haha JK, well as long as you're a nice person on the forums then I'm sure people won't care. :)

  • the question is who didnt?
  • ......What are friends?

But in all seriousness, I actually got a good group of like 6 of my friends to get into the game last summer. I believe each Walking Dead Season 1 Episode was on sale for half off, so the majority of them got the first episode and decided they liked it, so they decided to purchase the rest of it.
  • Dayum! The blood of your foes would make it unique.

Thanks to you, of course. ...I never wanted to paint fake blood on the hat anyway. ;)

  • Nahh, I'm not actually mean, I just really like to annoy people. :p Most of the times I'm just as nice as when I'm here though. Heh.

  • I got my mom to play but since she sucks at video games I control the character while she chooses what Lee or Clem say.
  • ha ha....I dont think I can recommend such a thing intensifying game to my folks(S1E2 *cough*)..I don't think they can take it XD
  • I only got one friend into it and he loved it but he's waiting for Season 2 and possibly TWAU to come to discs before he buys them since he doesn't like downloading games.

I'm in my mid-twenties (I'm a girl too) and I love video games. I play several series (Dead Space, Dead Island, Assassin's Creed, Left 4 Dead, Lego games) and many other stand-alones. My younger sister has the same mentality towards video games as your friends. She's 17 and is more into her smartphone and stuff than I am. I was always more tom-boyish I guess. :) I got my husband to play it though. He liked it, but he's definitely more into The Wolf Among Us. He's read both TWD and the Fables comics. I've just read TWD ones. My younger brother who's 13 is really into video games, but he's a bit too young for TWD. I don't think my mom would let him and I really wouldn't blame her (cannibals, bad language, a lot of violence and adult-themed decisions). She won't let him play Call of Duty and that really irks him. lol

I only have girls in their mid 20's as friends so they think that games are only for kids and teenage boys, expect those stupid smartphone g

  • My husband is the same way. I like TWAU too, but TWD has more meaning to me. He played Season 1, but now he just watches me play Season 2. He watches me play the game like he would watch a movie/TV show. He's not so into the gameplay, but likes the story. TWAU is "cooler" in some ways I guess. It's got a tough guy who's also a wolf as a main character, whereas TWD has a little girl as the main character this season. I think that plays a part in some people's opinions. Personally, I love Clementine and Bigby both as characters. It's a nice change of pace to play as a kid for once in a video game, especially a kid in the zombie apocalypse. It's a very unique situation in gaming.

SAME, OMG. Except my brother and I aren't out of High School, yet. My bro seems more intrigued by TWAU. Swing and a miss. :/

  • I own GTA V.

    I barely play it, though.

  • He'll be fine. I got my 11 year old cousin to play it all the way to Episoe 2 of Season 2. Though he couldn't stand the part when Clementine had to stitch her own arm.

  • I'm promoting this game to my cousin but they want a game that really good in graphics. :P
  • This has been the only game I ever recommended to my wife, who is not a gamer. It was very revealing to see her make the choices she made when hard choices had to be made and how she got so personal with some of the characters (especially hating on Larry and then feeling awful about Lilly losing him.) She is waiting with me right now for episode 3 to be available.
  • Nope, you guys are the only people i know that have played the game.

I got my sister to play it and while the first thing she said when she started the game was "how do I skip this cutscene" she definitely got into the game halfway through episode 1. Right now we are both waiting for episode 3...Also I got a friend to play it and he loved every minute of it.
  • Not gonna lie I was kind of like that too. I don't know why I'm quite fine with gory stuff. Idk just seemed very creepy to me.

Nah, my mom made it to the St. John's dairy and was like "screw this I'm done". She likes zombies, but I guess cannibals are just too much for her. My dad didn't even make it out of the cop car. XD

  • I don't blame him, that was freaking disgusting!
