Of course there are some " hardcore " Kenny fans on this forum, but there are hardcore-fans for every character! You seem to forget that there are many people on this forum, that hate Kenny and try to make Lilly look like a saint!
Saying Kenny is overrated, is like saying Lee and Clem are overrated. He is one of the main characters of the game (Even though we never played as him...yet) and he is a very deep and well written character!
Doug is the type of person you want in a zombie apocalypse. Someone with technical expertise. There are a ton of people with shooting experience, and people can be taught to shoot a lot quicker than learning how to reconfigure a remote from memory from memorizing all the codes, or jury-rigging an alarm system.
Chuck was very underrated. That guy was surviving on his own just fine for months, apparently. Then the group gets involved with him and he's dead in 2 days. He saved Clem though.
Underrated: Duck, Mark and Chuck
Overrated: I don't know, actually. Most of the characters that get a lot of love I was actually rather fond of too. I wasn't quite as enthused with Carley as many others were, I guess.
459 has more pathos than 111, showing the horror of the undead condition. You can almost see from his shambling how his divorce right before the outbreak has effected how he deals day to day with his new undead behavior.
I agree Christa lost Omid and her baby but then she still carries on to look after Clem. She also protecting Clem when she got caught by those bandits but that obviously didn't work out the way she planned. :(
The most underrated character is Mark.I mean,a cool guy like him died too fast and too brutal.I was hoping him to survive at least 1 more episode.
Most overrated character is Ben.There's just too much stuff going on with him(like in episode 4)
SEASON ONE
Most overrated - Molly. I liked Molly, but I felt she was too comic-booky. She was too badass and too perfect. It felt really out of place among the other characters.
Most underrated - Katjaa. She was such a sweet character, and one of the first characters to accept Lee's past because she knew he was a good man based on how he treated Clem. I hate that her character was reduced to nothing more than fueling Kenny's man pain.
SEASON TWO
Most overrated - Nick. Don't get me wrong because I love Nick. I think he's a great character. But I feel like the fandom kinda blew his character out of proportion, and they have these visions of grandeur for him in future episodes, when in reality he's probably gonna kick the bucket early into episode 3.
Most underrated - Carlos. I feel like there's a lot to his character that gets overshadowed by the "stupid doctor" jokes. (Even though I love those jokes, heheh.)
Overrated characters: Molly (character seemed pointless besides being a badass, kind of came across as a Mary Sue to me), Carley (no offense, she just wasn't THAT great), and Kenny (though i do love the guy).
Underrated characters: Doug (he was actually really funny and a smart, sweet guy; he also sacrificed his own life for Ben's as opposed to just being shot for arguing like Carley was), Duck (he wasnt that bad. i thought he was a cute kid), Mark (no one even remembers him hahaha), Katjaa (seems like no one remembers her either. she was a kind woman, being reduced to just dying for the sake of Kenny's character development wasnt fair to her)
Most overrated: Carley.
Most underrated: Tie between Katjaa and Doug.
I can't really think of an overrated one, the popular characters became popular thanks to their prominent screentime. In my head anyway. If I had to say one I'd say Nick though. Which is weird to say when he's my favourite new character introduced in Season Two. Well, either him or Luke.

I can't think of any other character who stayed in the main group who was that flat. Its very unimaginative of people. I get she's new and there's not much to talk about with her yet, but wow. She did presumably help fix him up and is trying to fish/figure out his problems with Clementine.
I REALLY hope they won't kill Sarita off just for Kenny's character development, because in my opinion that'd be a big mistake. First of all it would just be repeating what happened in Season 1 Ep 3 and that'd be pretty boring and unoriginal of them to do. Secondly it'd be such a waste of great potential.
Sarita has intrigued me so far, and I want to find out more about her, and I will not be happy if another character like this gets killed off to produce manpain.

Of course they do, when you play them like that! And do i need to remind you that Lee murdered somebody before the apocolypse startet? Isn't that a dislikable trait?
That said, having dislikeable trait's isn't a bad thing. A perfect character is a boring character. It's the strength and weakness, what makes a character interesting!
