Parts that you din't like about In Harm's Way
So, what parts you din't like about episode 3?
Well, I'm annoyed that the 400 Days characters other than Bonnie din't have any big roles whatsoever in this episode. I hope they will be important in episode 4.
And I feel like Carver was killed off to early, I thought he was supposed to be the main villain of this season.
So those are my dislikes about the episode. What were your dislikes?

But on a serious note, I hated Shel and Becca as cameos. It was just Becca being rude for a while and Shel calming her. Hello? Something more?
You know, I preferred Nick Breckon's writing. But still, it was amazing episode
* 400 Days choices other than cameos really don't matter in this episode. Including Season One choices.
* Carver's death. I mean REALLY?! I thought he would be the best power maniac evil in this Season. But nope.
* Carlos's death. JESUS ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?! At least I expected to be a memoriable death scene. Like sacrifising himself to the walkers for protecting Sarah.
* Also I didn't like the idea that they forced Clementine to do a amputation to Sarita.
* From the looks of it Luke is bitten. F**k my life. I don't know anymore. It'S gonna be Lee all over again.
* Alvin's death. Pete all over again.
2) Not being able to interact with the other 400 Days characters besides Bonnie is upsetting. It's also kind of OOC in my opinion that Russell and Shel would be in Carver's community, considering all they've been through with tyrant camp leaders.
3) Some of the dialogue was written.. badly. It felt awkward at times listening to some characters speak.
Anyways, don't get me wrong, I liked the episode, but it had a few flaws.
-Carver died too early. I wanted to know more about his character.
-The 400 days characters (excluding Bonnie and Tavia) only had brief cameos. I was hoping they'd play a bigger role.
-Jane seems like a carbon copy of Molly.
We never know the story about Alvin killing George , It is like they dump this idea
Except I think Jane is just crazier than Molly... she is seriously convincing Clem to leave the group...
Is their proof Tavia killed Carlos?
I would have liked a short conversation with each of the 400 Days survivors to find out how they saw the camp for themselves, but episode 4 will probably bring those people into Clem's group.
Also, the other guards didn't interact with Carlos very often. They just saw him few times, while Tavia saw him more times. So she had bigger chance of recognizing him disguised as a walker.
Wow, I really am a conspiracy theorist.
- Carver's early death
- The guards don't like Carver and his attituide, but they don't even try to kill him.
- 400 Days character not very much into this episode, what role will they play? I mean, we will only see them in 4 and 5 episode?
- No Character developement.
- Reggie's voice acting...wasn't bad, but it was just out of the character o_o
- Boring
- Not many feels
I'm expecting the 400 days characters other than Bonnie to have a more interesting role to play later on. If they don't, then wow, what a waste.
No hubs. Again. Expected.
I wish Carver had survived to have more of a role in the season, but now I'm half-wondering if our villain from now on is going to be Tavia seeking revenge.
I didn't like Russel and Wyatt appearence, was a bit strange.
I think Regi seemed to be nicer in the playing dead, in the episode he seems to me to be annoying and they said he would be funny but I didn't found anything funny in him.
- Carver took out way too early, I thought he will be the main antagonist, now I don't even what'll heppen in the next episodes.
-400 days characters. Asisde from from Bonnie it was underwhelming as hell, I was so hoping with some interactions with them but nope. Let's just hope the'll have bigger roles in the next episodes
Oh, Clem didn't lose ultra strenght. Knocks out adult zombie with one hit and chops arm off really fast.
My fears were well founded. He would have been more interesting with greyer morality and more depth.
- Dissappointing apperances of 400days characters (except Bonnie)
- Not enough character development
- Choices (They weren't hard enough IMO)
P.S. I have to admit I didn't like Kenny(especially first 30-50 minutes of ep.3), but later in this episode I really cared about him, cause he really cared about Clem. And I was worrying for him after he was beaten by Carver. Because he stepped out for Clem, even he knew that he would be beaten.
P.P.S. In my humble opinion that was the best episode so far in this season, and one of the best in the series. So that's 9/10 from me.
-Carver's early death is only in opinion. I'm glad he died this early.
-They know Carver is pretty fucked up, and they want to stay safe in the community. Also, Troy was only questionable of Carver's behavior with the Kenny scene, other than that the guards were ok with it... except for Bonnie who actually helped.
-I agree with the 400 days character thing but I believe they'll come into play later... as in, I think it was just too determinant to have any big dialogue with someone that most people might not see at the camp, maybe if they all have to come to see Clem's group again, there will be more dialogue and such.
-No character development only depending on how you played it...
-Reggie's voice acting was out of character, yes.
-I don't see how you could possibly find it boring...
-Not many feels? Duck's mention? Do you not own a soul?
*Some dialogue felt... awkward. Could've been worse, but yeah, some scenes at the beginning... not so great.
*The 400 days cameos are a disgrace. But I guess it's to be expected; too much branching to reliably incorporate with their development cycle.
*Choices on this one are kind of weak. They feel, for the most part, irrelevant, even more than usual. To be expected, considering...
*...Carver. No, not his death. Actually, his death was timely and here's why: He is not an interesting villain. He is made to be hated, a catalyst for bad shit to happen in the story, but he is just another madman in a long line of TWD characters that thank the heavens got killed off before we had to put up with one diabolous ex machina after another. TWD uses a lot of those, yeah, but they rarely ever feel so forced than the always-one-step-ahead-of-you bully.
Telltale had two options: Artificially make him a thorn in our side for the rest of this season, explore his character more and with luck have him turn out a good enough villain by the time of *No Going Back* or go the easy way. Have him be the catalyst for *stuff and thaangs* to happen, make him enough of a bastard so that the average player feels a strong enough catharsis once his death comes and keep moving with whatever the rest of the story for this season is.
He served his purpose. Nothing more.
*Oh, BTW, kinda short, *some* characters lack characterization (but OMG, Rebecca, I was kinda wrong about you) and no hubs. Again. The usual.
I liked it, though.
Although i'm not a GIANT fan of Clem swearing, moments like that i'd find necessary.
Tavia however, has been known since 400 days which it's almost been a year since we've met her so it'd only make sense IMO.
