Tavia
Anyone else have a gut feeling that Tavia is set to take Carver's place as our central antagonist?
It was just a hunch before, but the more I think about it the more it seems to add up. Carver's men will be after Clem and company, led by her. It will be in this context we'll get further chances to interact with other 400 days characters.

Even if she DID dislike Carver, she'll be coming after Clem and her group for other reasons. Bet on it.
Moreover, Season 1 was considerably more episodic than Season 2. There were a few plot threads running throughout, such as the fate of Clem's parents, but for the most part the characters were just trying to survive, with any antagonists coming and going quite quickly. The longest running antagonist, the Stranger, was the one to close the season and prior to the final episode wasn't particularly important to the plot.
By contrast, Season 2 has built-up the threat of Carver and his community from Episode 1. It might even be called the central thread of the whole season. To just kill Carter, forget about his community and more or less pretend it never happened in favor of whatever new random threat they want to throw at us would be sloppy storytelling.
We're 2 episodes before the end. It isn't the time to start creating new threats for the group from whole cloth when they already have a perfectly valid one right behind them. Remember, Tavia and her people have every reason to be vengeful after Clem's group set a herd of walkers on them. Even if she doesn't give a damn about Carver, how many men do you think Tavia and company lost in that attack? How much work was undone so Clem and company could get away while her people were fighting and dying?
Look, I get that people want to see the 400 Days cast be more involved with the plot (I do too) but we may just have to settle for whomever TT deems appropriate to that purpose. I would like to see more of Tavia but I'm not going to exaggerate her importance without due cause.
Edit: And I must be one of the few people who wasn't sure that Carver would be around all season. The thing about using big names for VO sometimes is that they're busy and/or expensive and that can effect how long a character hangs around.
Well, we'll see, but frankly if that is the sum total of what Telltale's writers can think to do with that whole plot thread before moving on to what they think to be greener pastures, its pretty pathetic.
