I completely agree with this forum. People have high expectations and the episodes are AMAZING yet people still complain. I don't think they realize that you can't just make it in 2 months with 3 hour length and blah blah.
  • Not everyone will be happy, some people expect more than what they receive. I don't and never would ask anyone to stop complaining, it is their right to. However I am happy so far as I like the games and realize and understand I am not the writer, and if I was it would take the enjoyment out of the game by knowing what is going to happen.

I will say that waiting months between episodes sucks but at roughly $5 per game, I have no real complaints. Would I like the games to be 2-3 hours each....YES, but I am generally happy with the series and what they are doing. I will say that when Season 2 came out, I really didn't expect Clem to be the main character and thought it would be a bad idea but changed my mind since Kenny has come back. I like what they have done and respect all those who don't like it, just don't tell us we are "fanboys" or "telltale whores" because we enjoy the game.
  • Yes, but cutting out during the most action filled part of the episode was just bizarre... and honestly a little lazy.

Well it's a cliffhanger for a start. And it will also keep you interested in the game because you don't know what's going to happen next so

  • So you can't tell me yourself? You have to post another thread cause you think EXACTLY like he does? SIgh... Here i hoped we could have a decent discussion but you dont' seem to be able to express your own opinion.

Ok, then: EDIT#100: Shit, how can I post links? (:)//www.telltalegames(.)com/community/discussion(/)61900/gripes-with-season-2/p1 &

Go to my profile page, there are more links and the explanation on what every one of them contains, but they are not showing. All of them have posts by me, so yeah, I think **exactly** like him. I could copy paste the walls of text, if you want.

  • So why can't you jsut tell me in a short summary yourself what you think about the game as a series? Should not take you more than two minutes to write down.

  • Couldn't agree more with OP ;)

Because, believe it or not, I am tired of repeating myself for the last couple months, and all of those threads have many distinct ideas that I cannot really summarize quickly or in an orderly manner. Seriously, take some time to read at least the "Parts that you didn't like about In Harm's Way" thread, since it answers your question.

And, I say again as I did from on my un-viewable post above: "I do not expect to read all of this (Hell, not even ONE of these), but they are there... I have tried."

EDIT: And seriously, how can I post links??? They just disappear even when I put other characters in between.

  • Season 2 sucks balls
  • Totally agree. Every time an episode comes out, there's complains about the same things. The time? Fuck the time. I don't even realize. And does everything have bad writing in it? I still can't tell. And I miss the fucking hubs too, but we're not getting them. Deal with it! There are real complains like Carver's wasted potential (still liked his death) or how little we saw of the 400 days characters, but don't act like that's a deal breaker. Not every fucking thing you don't like is gonna ruin the episode.

Nah, *A House Divided* was welcome improvement over *All That Remains*, *In Harm's Way*... I guess a step forward and two steps back?

Also, I will continue to play the game, and i understand why people continue to do so. What I don't understand is as to why they are content with seeing certain elements that make the game great gone and brush them off as if nothing had happened, continuing to praise the game in its current state, not offer any criticism.

  • So Mrwalto69, you're saying it's exactly the same people who are contradicting themselves? Somehow I don't think that is the case. Different people have different opinions. I don't really remember too many people complaining about season one episodes being too long. 104 may not have had the action of other episodes but that doesn't mean it was too long, just they wanted a little "more" than what they got (I was more than happy with it). I am one of those who think that season two episodes aren't as long as I would like (sure there are many more in the "too short" brigade than the "too long" camp [and a lot more who are just fine with the length]) and I hate having to wait 10 weeks before I can play the next ep. It doesn't mean I don't have other things to do or that I think they should get the episodes out after 6 weeks by rushing and cutting corners, I just want TTG to be more "efficient". Love the game, can't wait for 204. The countdown begins!
