    Well... the episode ends as they are trying to get through the hoard. Many think he is infected and there is reason to believe it. Perhaps he dies or gets much worse, so they didn't show him? They are trying to hide his bite. They wouldn't show a sick and pale luke in the preview and spoil it right?

    He's NOT bitten, just tired. He was later in much better condition when carver beat the shit out of him. He would die from fever hours before that.
