Choices (POLL) (SPOILERS)

Ok, I am curious as to what choices everyone here would make. I am listing four scenarios and the choice you must make. Give your choice for each scenario:

1. Luke is bitten, but he thinks he won't turn. The other members of the group think he will be a liability. Will you:
A. Leave him behind.
B. Bring him, at risk of him turning and killing someone.
C. Kill him yourself.

2. You catch a group member stealing supplies. Do you:
A. Keep your mouth shut.
B. Tell the others.

3. Rebecca has her baby, but due to a birth complication, you can save either the baby or Rebecca. Who do you save?
A. Rebecca
B. The Baby

4. Kenny and Christa are both walking on a bridge when it suddenly gives way. You can only save one. Who do you save?
A. Kenny
B. Christa

Bonus:
Tavia returns. What do you do?
A. Kill her
B. Do nothing

  • these are more difficult situations than in game decisions
  • Mine:

    1. Id leave him behind. While I like Luke, a good group leader wouldn't put his group at risk, but wouldn't want to hurt a member either.
    2. I tell the others.
    3. Rebecca. The baby probably would cause problems for the group anyways.
    4. Christa. Woman and Children first.
Bonus: Kill Tavia. That fat black moo cow.
  • Well? Which would you do? :P

  • 1.A ... i don't want others to be killed and even luke left clem in shed thinking she is bitten
2.B ... i will tell others bcoz my darling carley is dead due to ben stealing supplies ... i don't want another death
3.A ... THIS WILL BE A DIFFICULT ONE but taking care of baby in a zombie apocalypse is difficult
    4.A .... kenny
i didn't get your bonus question
  • ...This is too hard lol. I'm sorry Cameron I just can't. :P

    1. A. Leave him behind! (If something like that happens, I will flip! I would have to leave him behind though)

    2. B. Tell the others. (Of course, everyone needs supplies)

    3. B. The Baby (I know that Rebecca would be the safer choice, but I would save the baby)

    4. A. Kenny ( I like Christa, but still I would choose Kenny)

Tavia returns. B. Do nothing (I think there was enough bloodshed already! As long as she leaves us alone, when she would go crazy I would kill her though.)

1.C (Since there wasn't a choice to cut off the infected limb, way not kill him?)

2.B (Why would I keep it a secret? Personally I'd kick that member out the group. Or kill them.)

3.A (An infant has no use and the crying would be a problem. Kill the baby, and save Rebecca.)

4.A (Kenny, of course. There's no comparison.)

    Bounus. I'd Kill her, easy.
  • kill her for sure

    1. I'll go with B, but hopefully he ends up killing someone I dislike (Sarita or Sarah). If Sarita and Sarah are already dead at this point, then I'll go with C and kill him myself.
    2. B, they have to know, plus it's fun seeing everybody get mad at the one person XD
    3. I'll save Rebecca, I just don't want to have to deal with a newborn (Unless "dealing" with it means that I get to gouge it's eyes out and step on it's head, then yeah I can deal with it)
    4. Easy, I save Kenny. I don't like Christa that much.
    5. I'll do nothing to Tavia, I don't have anything against her yet.

    I like these questions.
  • This hypothetical questions are fun :)
  • C
    B
    B
    A
    A
  • 1:
Bring Luke along, there's usually some warning before they drop dead and turn.

    2:
Tell the others. I do not want another Ben.

    3:
Rebecca. I do not like Babies.

    4:
    Kenny, bros before hos.

    5:
    Kill her.
  • 1.) B, we'll know soon enough. As long as he doesn't get us killed, he can stay.

2.) both, Why did they do it? If their reasoning was justifiable I'd keep it quiet.

3.) B. it's stupid, but probably what Rebecca would want.

4.) That's tough. As grateful as I am toward Christa, I'd have to save Kenny.

5.) That depends on Tavia. I'm willing to give her a second chance, after all we effectively destroyed her home. I'd take no pleasure in killing her, but if she's a threat, so be it,
  • These are good!

    1. - I'll probably choose A. Luke is physically fit and has proven to be able to catch up with a goddamn truck; if he indeed doesn't turn for whatever reason, he can return to the group and show them he's alright. If he does turn, he won't be close enough to cause any danger.

    2. - Depends on who it is, how much and what they're stealing and why, I guess... Although I can't really think of anyone I wouldn't let go after interrogating them and them being honest torwards me. I can't say I wouldn't be stern with them, though, especially if our supplies are limited.

    3. - This one's a really tough one... it probably depends on how many other people are still alive and how capable they are of taking care of a kid. I mean, Kenny for example already raised a child, and Christa was mentally prepared for one so if they're there, I'll save the baby. Otherwise it'll be hard to take care of them, and while she might hate me for it, I would probably save Rebecca.

    4. - This one's easy for me! I'd save Christa; simple matter of personal character preference.

Bonus: I won't kill her unless she does something extremely shitty. I'm wary of her, but I don't actually have any hatred torwards her since she hasn't been violent torwards kids or murdered someone as far as we know.
  • A. Can't have no bite victims up in dis group
    B. Well duh
    B. Rebecca would be sooooo pissed if I saved her
    A. I'm one of few who dislikes Christa, no competition on this one
    A. NO ONE calls #WarmPuffyRainbows ugly!
  • C. I like Luke, but it's the humane thing to do. If it was someone like Stranger or Dee, I would let them reanimate, it's the worst punishment.
    B. I hate to agree with Lilly, but stealing supplies is like killing you indirectly.
    B. I like Rebecca, but it's probably what she wants.
    A. My man.
    A. Kill her, kill her now.

If these were real choices I would be like "fuck this" and stop playing

    1) Shame we can't lock him in a shed over night with no food, water or blankets ;) Edit: Option B. Take him with us and when the signs start to show, kill him off. It would make me extremely sad to have to kill off Luke though
    2) B. As Lily says in the Season 1, stealing supplies is the equivalent to killing the group. Plus someone is bound to notice the shortage which might result in someone else getting the blame.
    3) A. As everyone else has put it, dealing with a new born in an apocalypse where even the slightest sound can result in your death is just stupid.
    4) B. Kenny is a reckless asshole who would cause a tonne of problems.
Bonus: B. She hasn't done anything to warrant death. If her crime is following Carver's orders, then we might as well kill off the entire group since they're guilty of the same thing.
  • 1. Luke is bitten, but he thinks he won't turn. The other members of the group think he will be a liability. Will you:
    B. Bring him, at risk of him turning and killing someone.
-Like others have stated, you can tell when they're near turning, and WTF Luke, you think you won't turn? I love Luke, but talk about in denial-

    2. You catch a group member stealing supplies. Do you:
    B. Tell the others.
-It depends if them stealing supplies is hurting our group at all, if so then i'd have to tell everyone, mostly because it's basically screwing everyone over-

    3. Rebecca has her baby, but due to a birth complication, you can save either the baby or Rebecca. Who do you save?
    B. The Baby
-I love Rebecca as a character, but i'm pretty sure any mother would prefer their child to live on at the cost of their own life-

    4. Kenny and Christa are both walking on a bridge when it suddenly gives way. You can only save one. Who do you save?
    B. Christa
-Christa. Although the decision is difficult as fuck, Kenny has saved her before, risking his life doing so, I don't doubt that he'd be ok with doing so again-

Tavia returns. What do you do?
    A. Kill her
    B. Do nothing
-Depends on how she would be. If she looks as if she has intentions to cause harm, then i'd kill her, although i'd probably just distance myself from her if she was forgiving us, only for the reason that I have doubts she would completely forgive us, and she may possibly just be waiting for a moment to turn her back on us if that were to be the case-
  • 1. This is hard because this choice would NEVER happen. Luke wouldn't be as dumb as to think he wouldn't turn. I think C. But I would wait there with him and talk to him through his final hours until I knew he was fading. Then I would kill him myself and make it peaceful.

    2. Try to figure out why they're doing it and if we can convince them to stop but overall, B.

    3. A. The baby wouldn't even make it without Rebecca. Where are we going to find baby formula so quickly>

    4. B. Clem and Christa must be MUCH closer than Clem and Kenny would be after all this time. Plus, Clem and Kenny weren't even all that close in season one.

Bonus: Depends what she does. I have no beef with Tavia as of yet.

    1. Close the game and throw my PC out of the window.

    2. Tell the others. Unless it's someone I really like.

    3. Ugh, the baby. Taking care of a baby would be the last thing I'd want to do in a ZA but it's the right thing to do.

    4. Kenny

Bonus: Meh, I don't care enough about her to kill her.
  • C: I'd want to put Luke out of his misery, so he doesn't have to become a lurker as he calls them :c
B: "Stealing from that supply is the same as slipping into your room at night and cutting your throat while you sleep." - Lily
A: Too many cons to having a newborn baby in the zombie apocalypses..
A: Kenny has been through a lot with Clem and he'd do anything he can for Clem.
B: Tavia was just following orders (although she's a bitch at times). I have nothing against her.
  • 1. Luke is bitten, but he thinks he won't turn. The other members of the group think he will be a liability. Will you:
    A. Leave him behind.

Unless Luke was in an advanced state of conversion, I don't think it's Clementine's call to kill him. But knowing the inevitable conclusion to being bitten, Clementine could at least spare the group more hassle and convince Luke that his place is no longer with them.

    2. You catch a group member stealing supplies. Do you:
    B. Tell the others.

Even though this decision has spelled disaster on previous occasions (for poor Carley/Doug and Stephanie of 400 Days), I don't think Clementine could keep such an important matter from the group whilst retaining their trust. I think it would heavily depend on who was stealing.

    3. Rebecca has her baby, but due to a birth complication, you can save either the baby or Rebecca. Who do you save?
    A. Rebecca

This is a horrible one. But... I guess I keep thinking about the strain of raising a child in such an eternally unsafe environment, and who would be fit to carry such a burden. Rebecca survives to hopefully have a child in a better time seems like the more merciful scenario... well, maybe to me anyway.

    4. Kenny and Christa are both walking on a bridge when it suddenly gives way. You can only save one. Who do you save?
    B. Christa

I'd be heartbroken either way and I can't give a rounded explanation for why, but my instincts would tell me to save Christa.

    Bonus:
Tavia returns. What do you do?
    B. Do nothing

Tavia didn't so enough to convince me that she was just as rotten as Carver in the last episode and her return would need to have more background to inform my decision to kill her, so as it stands I'd do nothing and wait for her motives to come to light.

    A. Kenny

    Bonus:

    B. Do nothing
  • 1. kill Luke, i don't want to see him suffer
    2. tell the others!, i don't want to see another motor inn incident to happen
    3. i'll save Rebecca, because, raising a baby without his/her biological parents is hard on its self, and then add zombie apocalypse, it's almost impossible
    4. Kenny. just straight up kenny
    bonus :
    do nothing tbh
  • 1. B. I wouldn't have the heart to put him down until his very last minute. Besides, he can still help the group until his time runs out, and as others have said, it's unlikely that we'd be caught off guard when he was finally about to turn.
    2. Tell the others. As we've seen, things like that need to be nipped in the bud and fast.
    3. Rebecca. Harsh as it is, it would just be too hard trying to take care of a baby in this world and it would constantly be putting the group at risk.
    4. Christa. It would be sad as hell to watch Kenny go, but to me, there's no underestimating the impact she had on Clem being her only influence and keeping her alive for sixteen months, even if we didn't get to see it.
    5. I wouldn't kill her on sight, but if she still presents as a threat after we've heard from her, I'd consider it.

  • 1. C (Kill him yourself): Of course he will turn and the longer you wait to kill him, the harder it will be. Killing him would be the best option, I think he'd prefer dying than to becoming a mindless walker; you owe that much to him at least. At the end of the day it would be his decision, but I think the best choice for both himself and others would be to kill him, before he turns into a monster.

    2. A (Keep your mouth shut): This depends on who it is, what the supplies are that they're stealing and how it would impact the group to not have said supply. If it's another scenario like when Alvin took an extra can of peaches/beans for Rebecca, I don't see why that should be so big of an issue. Telling the others would result in that character not trusting you much anymore, and would result in increasing tensions amongst the group, so keeping mum imo would be the best option.

    3. B (Baby): I think Rebecca would want her baby to live rather than her; I get the feeling that if Clem sacrificed the baby, Rebecca would never forgive her and perhaps go on a downward spiral after losing both her husband and her child.

    4. A (Kenny): That was a really tough one! Both are equally deserving to be saved... It would come down to the fact that I prefer Kenny's character and like his bond with Clem far more. I feel that ever since Omid and the baby, Christa lost everything that mattered to her and just stopped living. She kept going for Clem, but was empty inside. Not that she deserves to die because of this, but I feel that she would finally feel a sense of peace in her death, where she could be reunited with Omid/baby. Ever since Clem came back into the picture, I think Kenny found purpose again and began a new 'family' with her. He found something to live for again, and I'd hate to see him die (again), just when things were looking up for him since the ordeal with Katjaa and Duck.

Bonus: This is tricky. It would depend on her intentions towards the group. If she's actively hunting us down for vengeance or wants us dead, I would kill her in a heartbeat.
  • 1. A. Leave him behind.
    - I like the scenario a lot, Luke is totally the type to think he'd beat the infection but... obviously he can't. But anyway, I can't have my Clem kill any more folks if she can help it. However, if the option was to encourage someone else to shoot him, I'd do that. Unless it was Nick. I wouldn't make Nick shoot Luke. That's fucked up.

    2. N/A
    - This one really needs context. There are some situations where I'd turn a blind eye and others where I'd tell, and a lot depends on who it was doing the stealing. So I can't really answer this because it's way too vague.

    3. A. Rebecca
    - I know Rebecca. I don't know this damn baby. I'm keep Rebecca.

    4. B. Christa
    - Cared for Clem for over 16 months. That has more weight than anything Kenny's ever done. I like him and it'll be sad to let him go, but I owe Christa.

    Bonus: B. Do nothing
    - Killing Tavia would just be senseless violence.
  • 1. Kill him myself.
    2. Keep my mouth shut.
    3. Let them both die.
    4. Christa

    Bonus: Kill her.
  • B, B, B, idk, A
  • 1.B(I won't kill anyone unless I will absolutely have to)
2.B(Unless the person who was stealing supplies gives the group an explanation,I don't really care what happens to him/her)
    3.B(I won't let a newborn die)
4.A.(I don't really know about Christa that much)
5.B(I won't do anything, but if she wants to shoot clem, she won't even have time to pull the trigger)
  • Okay, first that last bit was racist, watch what you say. Second, why would you let Luke suffer in pain and turn if you 'like' him?

    2. B
    3. B
    4. B (I think Kenny would've want to save Christa)
    5. A. She's a bitch, she fucked up my trust which I got for her in 400 days.
  • edited May 2014
    1. B. I cant see my Clem wanting to kill someone she cares about as soon as she finds out they're bitten. Imo it makes more sense to kill them after they have turned, that way you haven't killed the person you care about.

    2. B. "What if Clementine gets sick and we don't have what we need!"

    3. A. The zombie apocalypse needs adult humans to survive it. This might seem harsh but the show pissed me off since they essentially sacrificed a fully grown women who was capable of defending herself to save an unborn child.

    4. A. Tough one, it has to be Kenny.

    5. A. It's time to kill a bitch.
  • 1. C. Luke does seem like the type to want to keep going despite being bitten. But in that situation, he has to be put down, during a safe opportunity.

    2. Completely depends on who it is and their reasons.

    3. B. The baby. Probably a naive choice. A big part of it is the Clem I'm playing puts a lot of faith in others, even if they do happen to be a defenseless, high maintenance, screaming walker-magnet. I feel Rebecca would want her to save the baby.

    4. A. I never really got along with Christa in season 1. It was very admirable of her to not sell out Clem at the start of this season... urgh, this would be a choice I'd feel shitty about afterwards, I know it. But yeah, I'd pick Kenny.

    Bonus:

I suppose it depends. It seemed to me like she was pretending not to notice Clementine while she was getting the walkie talkie. I'd probably give her a chance, though obviously remain very wary. First sign of trouble, she's dead.
