Did you trust Reggie?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
Did you guys trust Reggie at the beginning? So how did you act towards him?

I didn't, I really thought he was outside just to spy on the group and inform Carver of their plans, that's why i was quite rude to him at the beginning.

  • I did, I've known many people similar to him. He also kind of reminded me of Pete.
  • "Harvey Dent, can we trust him?"

And no, I didn't trust Reggie.
  • He seemed like he truly only cares about getting back into the group, and I could tell he wouldn't try to help us when get did get back into the group either so no.
  • I was iffy about him but I think overall he was a good guy. Like I told Kenny, I think he is, or was, just scared. And rightly so as it turns out.
  • If by 'trust' you mean 'let him in on our escape plans', then no, I didn't trust him. Not because I think he was a spy or a plant, but because he seemed so cowed and frightened of Carver that I think he would have folded under even the slightest pressure.

That's interesting. So you think Carver indirectly made it easier for the group to escape, by killing Reggie?

It's actually interesting how Reggie's death made life worse for Carver.

It was one of the reasons why Bonnie helped the group escape, and he wasn't alive to prevent them..

  • I trusted him as much you'd trust anyone you'd just met-esp when you've meet them in a place where you're being kept hostage and everyone is swearing at you, threatening to beat you up.
I warmed up to him after a while, but even when he died (which was sad), still couldn't help feeling that he may not have been that loyal even if he'd lived-because of his fear of Carver.
  • He was a nice guy, but I didn't trust him as much as I trust my group.
  • "No, it wasn't me! It was the one armed man!"

Nah, I don't think there was a reason for distrust. He helped the group escape, lost his arm and is a prisoner just like us.
The only thing that was weird was just how friendly he was while everyone else is such a dick. You'd think by now that he wouldn't be so optimistic about getting his freedom back considering everyone else's attitude towards him.
  • I treated him like someone with stockholm syndrome. I expected him to only act to prevent us from escaping because he thought he was powerless to Carver and was convinced he had a chance of getting free.

So I blamed him for Sarah's uncut berries.
  • When I found out he helped the group escape I started to trust him. But I didn't care about him. Sure I felt bad that he got in trouble and died but he should've grown a spine.
