Nick's lifespan?

Now, as many of you know, nick is a determinate character. However, if you saved him in episode 2 he also survived episode 3. What do you guys think about his chances in episode 4?

    As much as it pains me to admit it, his chances of getting through episode 4 are probably not very good. I'd love to be wrong.

    Hopefully he actually has a presence in episode 4 if it really is his last episode.

    I think he'll pull a Ben and survive until the 5th episode and then die then.

    He is probably going to die, as much as I don't want to. Though I DO wish he has more than 10 lines. And that more than half of them aren't about Luke. srsly.

    I just want his death to not feel rushed...

    Personally, if he somehow survives through EP 4, I'm probably going to jump around in happiness. And then come back to the fear that he is going to die in EP 5 (which, realistically, would be almost guaranteed)

    I think we've reached the point where it's safe to be scared for *every* characters' safety. Nick more so than anybody else seeing as he's the last remaining determinant in the current group. :(

    if he does survive episode 4 than most likely he will get barely any screen time in that episode and he will shine in episode 5

    I wish he had more importance in this episode. It seemed like he was just there, sometimes saying something, but most of the time being silent. I still don't think he'll have any importance in the next episode, since I think he won't stay with us for long.

    I really wish he can go on for the whole season alive. Even if he doesn't have many lines, while he's alive and we get a Talk to Nick option I'm happy.

    Yup. There are people thinking Luke is bitten, a lot of people thought Rebecca would die in Ep 3 (thankfully she didn't) and a lot more predicted Alvin's death. Kenny is basically marked to die to most of people, Sarita... Well, got bitten and (determinant) got her hand chopped. Predicted to die to Kenny's development. Nick is determinant, which is basically a mark to death. We know nothing about Mike and Jane, though...

    ... Writing this made me realize... oh no everybody is so fucked ;-;

    I'm going to be spending all of episode 4 basically coddling everybody in hopes they don't get killed, I can already tell. :S

    Knowing Telltalle he is either going to be the main hope for the group or he is gonna be a Ben v2.

    When he dies, either other people will die, or a horde will come because you can't have a specific death (for example Omid, Peter, Walter etc.) for a determinant character, just what I thought.

    I really hope he at least lives until ep 5 and be similar to Ben where he can be in your final group in late ep4/ep 5.

    As much as I love his character, I have to say he is pretty "Red Shirt" right now. Since he was able to die in Episode 2, and most TWD characters who can be determinate don't last long, I have to say its extremely likely he will either die or vanish in Episode 4. I really hope I am wrong though.
    I love his character and feel like it could use some more development.

    only reason they couldn't kill rebecca off is because they never got around to having her baby, which seems to be one of the biggest points of this season...

    If he has to die in episode 4 I hope that at least he will have some bigger role than in episode 3, because if he has again only a few lines and then he dies it will be such a waste of likeable and well developed character.

    Not really, he has a bit more: Two lines in his little fight with Kenny in the beginning (2), a short, sarcastic "Thanks, Bonnie"(3), one line when meeting Reggie(4),The "It's not"-line when Clem looks at the "beds"(5), about 5 lines when Clem talks to him(10), he actually yells "Jesus Christ, stop!" and "Troy do something!", when Kenny gets beaten(12), two lines in the discussion about when they should attempt to flee(14), "Not bad, old man" to Kenny(15), one more line before they all try to go through the herd. So that's 16 lines in total, some of them pretty funny and memorable.
    Edit: He also yells: "You don't have to do this, Bill", during Kenny's beating, though the only way to tell it's him is by noticing the subtitle's colour.

    I'm hoping Telltale has the courage to buck expectations and actually give Nick an interesting role to play, as well as not killing him. The very fact everyone has basically written him off as either a dead man walking or a character who will so fade into the background as to lose all importance means the determinant character thing is losing all its impact. Why should anyone care about a 'Carley or Doug'-style decision in the future if everyone knows now the very fact they're being asked means both will be dead before long?

    Please, God, let Nick live. Wouldn't it be awesome if, by some miracle, Telltale lets Nick live to the end? I mean, this time, players could ACTUALLY determine a characters status. Nick can either live or die, it's a choice, and it would be final.

    I think that would be so amazing.

    I don't like to compare companies, but I don't think Telltale does stuff like Bioware does. I'm not saying Bioware is better, I still prefer the games made by Telltale.
