i hope not!!is the more bad episode of all...linear story, plot holes, bad treatment for old characters with small cameos, bad treatment of int… moreeractions.....
really this guy Pierre shorette is a mediocre and amateur writer.....i hate this new writer he destroy much potential of story with this episode.
IMO the episode in itself is great. Pierre Shorette is not a bad writer, (his wolf among us episode was amazing). BUT in relation to the other two episodes, this one was very inconsistent. That's why people think he's a bad writer.

I'm sure he had great plans for the episode but couldn't deliver everything in 90 minutes. Don't blame the writer, blame their new "We now c… moreater to those kinds of pseudo-gamers who only have an hour and a half of free time after dinner before going to sleep" formula.
Please, for the love of all that is holy, next season, put the writers on a CONTRACT basis, to prevent the writers from leaving mid season again. That was retarded, and the writers who left are partially to blame. I mean, who the hell leaves an episodic game midway through? I mean... thats like, what would happen if JK Rowling had wrote HALF of the first harry potter book, and then she decided to just stop, and some random guy finished it? Disaster.
The writer didn't leave, like in season 1 they sometimes have different people writing different episodes. It has been confirmed that Nick Breckon is writing episode 5.
Here is a suggestion to TTG:

i hope see other writter in ep 4...this guy ruined the story in this ep 3....
much plot holes, bad interactions and bad treatments for old characters...
They switch writers between episodes usually, take the first season for example, Sean Vanaman was the lead writer and wrote for 3/5 while Gary Whita and Mark Darin wrote the other two.
This season Nick Breckon is writing 3/5 episodes with Pierre Shorette and someone else will write for the other two.
If you're curious Sean wrote for episodes 1, 3, and 5 while Mark wrote 2 and Gary wrote 4 for season 1. While Nick wrote 1 and 2 and is writing for 5, while Pierre wrote 3, and an unknown guy is writing for 4 for season 2.
And for the 400 days episode these guys wrote it: Sean Vanaman, Sean Ainsworth, Nick Breckon, Mark Darin, Gary Whitta.
the potential of characters of dlc 400 days is much but this guy not see this.
really i see a inconsistent episode with much plotholes...example why alvin kill George?why luke never question what happen with Nick(example in the concecuence od Nick die)...small interaction scenes why luke never question what happen with Nick(example in the consecuence that Nick die in ep2)
Yeah. i agree with you on that. I also found the behavior of the 400 days characters very strange. they all seemed grumpy. Carver may have been talking about our group in a negative way because of the fact that they fled before, that left them with a bad image about us. and also.. live under the Carver's (Do what I say or I'll slap you like an old ass!) rules also should not let anyone happy and smiling.
but.. well, we still have 2 more episodes ahead of us to see if those characters will have more involvement in the plot. and probably a Season3 after that. ^^
It was mine too of this season, but I feel the events of this episode should have spanned two episodes. The Carver arc was ended WAY too soon and I feel Tavia and the other 400 days survivors were severely underused this episode. Such a waste.
I understand you. I think.
But if the main point of this episode was Carver's camp. How bad it, and how to get out of here.
Anyway, like I wrote, the REAL problem is the 90 minutes thingy.
They have to sacrifice a lot of things (lines, character development) because of it.
In season 1, the story would shape the length of an episode. They'd chose the best ideas, take it all together and.. MAGIC.
In this season, the 90 minutes will shape the story. They'd take the best ideas, then cut them in bits until it reach 90 minutes.
(Someone else this)
Hate this limit, not the writers.
Also, it's good that they add new characters; would be boring if we'd have the same over and over again, until they die.
i am dissapointing for the bad treatments of characters with much potential...example 400 days characters....i wait much for see more partic… moreipations of this characters only for a very small cameos...really and new writter have the genius idea of add 2 new characters?man they have 400 days characters with much potential but they decide add 2 new characters with nothing of story...pfff really i not understood.
We need more scenes like episode 2... Where you actually question if what you are doing is actually right, sich as beting up andy st John while everyone is watching.
The one time you ACTUALLY give me examples, and they don't even make any sense.
Was I mildly disappointed about the 400 Days cameos? Sure. Until I came to my senses.
How come I was disappointed that I couldn't talk with the 400 crew and yet Clementine wasn't? BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T KNOW THEM. Most of them have been given a guard position, so Clementine saw those people as a threat. Bonnie is an exception because Clementine had some interaction with her at Walter's lodge so it made sense for the two to have a conversation. How random would it be if you can just walk up to people and talk to them in a place led by a crazy murderer?
Even if we could talk to them, what exactly were you expecting to hear them say? How they came to Carver's community? We already know that!
Unless it's part of the story, characters talking too each other isn't a plot hole. Let me tell you what plot holes are and while I'm at it, give you a real example of one:
A plot hole is a clumsily written, inconsistent flow of logic in a film/book/game/etc. that can ruin the story if it's too noticeable.
The eagles showing up to rescue Frodo and Sam at Mt. Doom after they've destroyed the ring but didn't save these two so much time and misery by just flying them to the volcano in the beginning. THAT is a plot hole.
Luke not acknowledging Nick's absence IS NOT A FUCKING PLOT HOLE.
Also, you should know why Alvin killed George, because Carver explains it in the previous episode. Even if he didn't, HOW DOES IT EFFECT THE PLOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM?
I'm know I coming off as a dick but I'm trying really hard to understand and respect your opinion. I can't, because you're just bad-mouthing a talented writer for reasons that make no sense. It's bad enough that you really have know idea what you're talking about, but your poor spelling and grammar just makes it worse.
the potential of characters of dlc 400 days is much but this guy not see this.

I honestly didn't mind that the 400 days group just had small cameos, but what sucks is that it seems like some of them had more lines, but those lines were cut. Wyatt and Russell both give the stock "you should go" response that videogame characters give when you run out of dialogue options. I think if their lines were written with the knowledge that they'd only speak for a few seconds, they wouldn't seem as awkward.
The season 3 show runner was the same as the runner of season 2 and both of those seasons were meh with season 2 being boring due to budget problems and AMC's Executive Meddling.
Season 4 has had consistent quality at least. The 2nd half had some mediocre episodes but I kinda expected that.
I actually did some research into after I heard about that and some of the stuff he was proud of writing never showed up in the film. Like apparently in his script the exposition was through subtle dialogue yet in the final movie it was suddenly narration. I heard he mentioned other stuff too that sounded way better than what was in the final movie. I doubt he lied about it because why would you not write your best ideas?
Why is everyone fixated on George? I never saw why that needed an explanation. I saw him as some guard who got in the way of the group and Alvin took him out to save the group and Carver didn't like the fact that he lost so much control that a man died. George was just some guy whose death was used as a way for Carver to justify beating the shit out of Alvin. He was going to do it anyway but because George died he had an excuse.
For the Nick thing there is a big cut between Luke being discovered and the escape. Also several people talked to Luke besides Clementine so I imagined he found out then.
this guy Pierre shorette is a writter of Wolf among us i i think he never understood the walking dead game....the potential of characters of… more dlc 400 days is much but this guy not see this...really i see a inconsistent episode with much plotholes...example why alvin kill George?why luke never question what happen with Nick(example in the concecuence od Nick die)...small interaction scenes and a very few time of game...really before of episode i think in interact with comunnity or what time happen in the comunitty...but this guy Pierre a newbie or amateur writter not see this..
And what's even sadder is this is first (and hopefully last) episode of this entire franchise where I didn't feel very attached to Clementin… moree. And I honestly don't know why. It's partially because most interactions between her and others feel very myopic and constrained. Like she'll talk to someone who will ask her to do something for their gain. No real personal conversations or deep insights this time. IDK.
EPISODE 4 NEED NICK BRECKON OR OTHER WRITTER OF SEASON 1 BUT PLEASE NOT MORE NEW GUYS...THIS PIERRE SHORETTE IS NEWBIE AND RUINED EP 3...TRANSFORMED CARVER IN A GOVERNOR 2.0...
We need more scenes like episode 2... Where you actually question if what you are doing is actually right, sich as beting up andy st John while everyone is watching.

I feel the same. Personally, I think he rushed this episode, ruined the 400 days characters, and made stupid choices. He better not write the next episode.
now magazines talk of a episode 3 disappointment.....well clearly the problem exist, this guy Pierre shorette ruined the heart of season 2...transformed carver in a governor 2.0...
Yeah...That's why I just hope Mr. Breckon is the writer for Amid The Ruins. I heard he's writing finale, that is, Episode 5, but I have no idea who writes Episode 4.
Fingers crossed for Breckon
I'm noticing a consistent pattern in most of your posts, and it usually boils down to six words: "Stupid puny Telltale fans! TYLER SMASH!!"
I agree the term "plot hole" is used a little too much here, but I feel most of the criticism directed towards episode three's structure is justified. Oh, and for crying out loud, PLEASE come up with a different example besides the eagles in LOTR. It's a good comparison, but it loses its potency if overused.

Worst episode by far IMO. The Carver arc ended WAY too early, few choices, no character development, the whole thing was just lame. And it was only 90 minutes. Wtf?
