It would be nice if, for ONCE, we could discuss the plausibility of a character not being straight without people coming in and acting like it's the end of the world. This is a harmless and valid discussion and we have the right to talk about it without getting shit. If people don't like it, they can just avoid the thread and keep their thoughts to themselves.

Yeah, I think he's gay. I don't know or not if TTG wanted to explicitly make him seem that way, but everything adds up for me. Even if you think they're just close buddies, you've gotta admit that's a lot of evidence. It's totally valid for people to interpret Nick's behavior like that.
And yes, it does matter if Nick is gay or not. I know people don't have bad intentions by saying that, but coming from an actual gay person here, you're not being as progressive as you think you are. Representation is a big deal. Saying you wouldn't mind if Nick was gay is fine however. I'm not aiming this at anyone in particular, but I see those kinds of comments a lot on threads like this.

I think it's a lot of his dialogue about Luke that makes people latch on to the idea of Nick not being straight. And even then, he could be bisexual, not gay.

He's the one (besides Luke) that I adore the most. I don't want him to be dead, but it surely seems that he wont be hanging around since you've already had a change to get rid of him

1. I am Bisexual, and was closeted for over 10 years.
2. A close friend of mine is gay and acted exactly the same, and puts on a tough act to prevent anyone figuring it out.
3. My brother is gay.

There was a thread with 50+ comments about what the food was that Luke gave Clementine at the end of episode 1. If people are allowed to talk about pointless shit like that and not get comments like "WHOOO CARES" then why can't we?

This isn't a thread about "Nuke" so much as it is just about Nick's sexuality. There's nothing wrong with discussing this.
