The walkie talkie scene.

For all you kenny lovers out there. This was the first episode I actually grew to like Kenny. After the walkie-talkie scene with Carver beating him down, I gave him a hug. I know hes now going to die (probably horribly) but he finally grew on me, and I can say im glad he is back in the game.

I honestly thought I was still going to dislike him after last episode, but this episode it was nice seeing the personality portrayed. Cant wait for the next episode, although sadly he is losing someone else he loves =(

  • I wasn't very attached to Kenny in season 2. but after this episode, I haven't been more attached to him then I have ever been. I don't know why but I just am.

Carver beat kenny too much and maybe damaged his brain. When kenny saw that crowbar he started thinking that he is gordon freeman...
  • Same here man, how he snatched the walkie talkie from Clem because he knew Carver would beat her down if she tried to hide it, or gave it up.

  • Yeah, in season 1 i was annoyed that if I sided alil differently at all, it seemed he didnt have my back, then with season 2 when he had some anger issues, and seemed alil emotionally damaged I was distant to his character, but this episode won me for sure. I believe he definitely looks at for Clem, and although I do like Luke the most currently, Kenny is up there now as well.

I keep bringing it up, so I'll just speed through: I didn't kill Larry, so he left me for dead the next episode, questioned my care for Clem, fought me (he lost), didn't join me on the search party, and was basically just a challenge since S1E2's ending. Now, as Clementine, his (seemingly) unconditional care for her is making me not hate him so much.

  • This sums it up for me perfectly Conduit. I hated him in season 1 pretty much. The last straw was when he told Lee to pretty much go fuck himself in helping find Clem. I felt hesitant about liking him all last episode, but now I m glad hes around. I still would like to have seen Lilly make an appearance though.

  • Ya Im shocked Kenny's character grew on me this episode. I use to not like him at all because it use to be 100% his way or nothing else but he understands the reasons for your choices in ep 3.
  • You and me both, yossarian...

  • I do like how Kennt treats Clem when she disagrees with him. Like if you don't agree to help him in the truck, he says it's okay, and if you say they should use both his and Luke's plan, he agrees easily enough. With lee, if you go against Kenny, Kenny goes against you in return. But Kenny at least knows that Clementine is not Lee and she's pretty much the only one he has left besides Sarita. His love and support for Clem is more unconditional... at least, for now.
