Something I don't get about Crawford

I've been thinking about something. The wiki says that Crawford was named after it's leader Crawford Oberson. If the wiki is correct, then shouldn't Crawford be named Oberson instead? This is just something I wanted to voice my thoughts on.

    I think Crawford is more menacing than "Oberson". The dude probably had some kind of God-complex.

    Crawford is the name of the old city square, and Crawford Oberson taking over it is a funny coincidence.

    Yes, he seems to have the God-complex, but we never talked to him or heard him so it's hard to tell.
