Can we take a moment to appreciate TTG ?

They are working on 4 games at once and they still manage to make great TWD and TWAU episodes for us and people thank them by criticizing every little thing they can. Sure the 400 character's appearance was a bit dissapointing so was nick's role but people aren't looking at all the great moments from this episode. We're better fans than that !

  • We are and we sure as hell appreciate Telltale but it doesnt give them the right to slap us around with their 90 minutes of gameplay BS. I love what they have done but they could of done better.
  • Alright well I agree but I do think they need to prioritize and stop trying to take so much on at once. I don't think I ever felt disappointed after an episode of the game but I certainly do wish they improve waiting times for each episode especially when each episode is only 90 minutes. Waiting 70 days for 90 minutes is a bit extreme.
  • I am astounded that they can do that at all, and am grateful for it in the long run.
But I still think they should go easier on themselves. The product of each game would be even better if only they worked on a couple at a time.
  • They are working on 4 games at once. Why ? I have no idea ! The episodes are still good despite the lenght and even though they are working on all those games at once people take the time to call them lazy

  • I agree with the waiting critics that's different. Im against people saying the episodes aren't good

  • I have never called them lazy and i have never said what they have delivered sucks i said the complete contrary I love TWD and TWAU episodes but they are being handicapped by their 90 minute policy.

  • Some people, a lot actually have been saying that this season sucks and blah blah blah ! You may not think its as good as the first one but take a moment to realize all they're doing at once for their fans

Think money helps as consumers we have every right to question the quality. Look don't fool yourself if the game was free I would sympathize and jump on the fan bandwagon but I'm a paying customer and it was the exact same price as S1(Bought all episodes at once) and based off that game and based off that experience I bought S2 but wasn't expecting shorter episodes, lack of feedback, no gameplay delays, etc.

    One question

Do telltale decide on doing a sequel through sales or fan reactions?(they don't care at all as long as money comes based on reactions to fans this year soon, supersoon etc really disrespectful no apologies for the delay just small things would help )

Judging by how they listen to us do fan reactions even register to them at all can we have telltale appreciate it's fanbase thread

They needed 100,000 sales to break even and sold over 21 million is it illogical not to expect every feature of the game to be expanded massively based on the profit margin not have features like Hub and Puzzles taking away just annoys me.
  • I get it but why do all of that if in the end its handicapping each and every other game it doesnt make sense they should relax because their fans will still buy GoT and TFTB even if its released in a later date.

Not take away have faith in telltale just being honest think they can still save TWD. s1 was masterpiece and think they can still make better game in the future possibly one of the best ever if they just listen to their fans again and remember who in the early days stuck by them to make them have the success they had when they struggled. After TWD s1 I was watching interviews after all the awards and way they talked about themselves as innovators in point and clicks as genius's and history makers, all money also came hope they still remember us and not let hype get to their heads being overambitious with so many titles, limiting staff on some profits etc.

If they Just add more gameplay. make decision have an effect , longer, few puzzles problem solved for me.

  • Gamers need to stop feeling entitled. I do love TTG and its games.
  • Gamers need to stop feeling entitled?

We're customers. Telling Telltale what we like and don't like isn't entitlement. Its what customers should do. It would be entitlement if Telltale were releasing these games for free, but we're all paying for these episodes.

If you never ask for what you want, you'll never get what you want.

That said, obviously most of us are Telltale fans and generally like their work. If we didn't, we would just leave rather than complaining in hopes of improvement.

  • Deeming the game horrible, accusing TTG of shorting its customers, demanding they halt their other games, and hating the game over minor issues (like the 400 Days Characters issue), all while asserting it as fact, not just opinionated, is feeling entitled.

TTG isn't an awful game company because they do a few things you don't like.

  • this is a very... difficult topic. if they intended to do what most companies now seem to be doing when they release digital content and put in a patch later that'll clear this stuff up, then i'd say let them have at it and keep going. hopefully all the input they've gotten will be of use in refining the game before its market release on cd. as it stands, the game that we're getting has forced plot devices, plot holes, and the like. it's playable sure, but it's starting to grow into a "i play this game cause it has TWD in its name and zombies." rather than "i love this game for its characters and plot, and the fact that it takes place in TWD universe is great." i feel like most of the people advocating that people just take what we get and have no negative opinions whatsoever would be just as happy playing some zombie mod or minigame for some other game, simply because there were zombies.

  • u stepped into the minefield known as "questioning TTG". if you speak for 'em, people are gonna hate you for being satisfied with an incomplete game full of holes. if you go against, you enrage those that expect you to be happy with whatever you get, and maybe they'll let a "please sir, may i have some more?" slip, as long as u wait quietly for them to get around to the next episode, when ever they deem to release it.

  • Well i aint letting TWD and TWAU burn to the ground they can dislike all they want.

  • Not surprisingly, this is the ONLY place where you find people hating and criticizing Telltale.

Reviewers from Gamestop, IGN, etc., do they bitch about these so-called problems? No. Their main complaints are the technical issues like frame stuttering and possible glitches. That's it. There was one review where the guy said he was a bit disappointed in the length, but he still considers it one of Telltale's best.
  • Telltale Games is the only video game company that has it right. They put story ahead of game play. That is why they are called the HBO of gaming.
  • Telltale has to be the most amazing video game company I've ever seen. They put story ahead of gameplay, and they don't rush shit and they take their sweet time, making sure everything is perfect. Unlike shit like Call of Duty, in which they shit out a game every year.
  • Drop the extra games and add more gameplay to their existing episodes..... I don't appreciate when my kids ask for more only to realize they can't eat everything on their plate.......
