I'm done with TWDG, I'm done with everything. I'm tired of this bullshit. Seriously, Episode 3 crossed the fucking line. It made me realize that the game cares about nobody but Kenny. And I don't even have the choice to dislike Kenny. Seriously, pause for a second, how does making such a polarizing character always loved by the protagonist a good idea? Really? How in any way shape or form is that a good idea? Because people who dislike him are in the fucking minority? Well people who wanted Ben to die in episode 4 were in the fucking minority, but they still got their fucking wish. Actually, that's not true. I've heard that wanting Ben dead was a popular opinion after episode 3. But instead of just MAKING IT HAPPEN, they GAVE YOU A FUCKING CHOICE. There's no choice anymore, and that's something I can't live with. I ain't coming back. So... Yeah. Just wanna say. I'm gone. Adios, amigos.

    But seriously I expected an in depth explanation that is weakest argument seen so far against ep 3 what think of the episode apart from Kenny as a whole?.

    Harpa, don't leave. You don't necessarily have to like Kenny, it just makes it so you can't absolutely hate his guts, just like the rest of the characters.

    I didnt really care for Kenny so much before. but after this episode ive never felt more attached to him than ever before.

    Nope. The only doubt you can show in Kenny throughout the whole episode is saying that he should not kill Mike. Or Carver. But no matter what, when Kenny gets up from the bed, Clementine's face lights up like a fucking house on Christmas Eve, and she looks at him as if he were Lee. That's what did it for me. That whole episode, due to the lack of choice, I tried to be as horrible as I could to Kenny, even when he deserved kindness. But EVEN THEN, Clem did that shit. And the only character that you can't hate other than Kenny is Luke. You can still be mean to Rebecca. You can tell Sarah to shut the fuck up. Carlos, I don't remember if you can, but if you can't, it would at least make sense, because he's being worked like a fucking mule, and he is stressed about hitting his daughter. Even with Luke, that's bullshit, but I just noticed Kenny first. I can't stand that shit either. Another reason for me to fucking leave.

    I like Kenny, but you do have a point. They should let people get angry with Kenny if they want to.

    After the shit that happened, I might've felt attached to him, even if I were still wary, but the fact that you literally can do nothing that can't be interpreted by a logical person as helping or comforting Kenny, that is fucking bullshit. I hate that. Same with Luke, in a lesser sense, since you can still be distrusting of Luke's intentions, abilities, and all that.

    No. I expect her to look neutral. Because I hadn't made a choice yet, and my Clem, up until that episode, wasn't too keen on Ken. She'd seen others have far worse happen to them, and she didn't make a fucking face. She wasn't hugely anti-Ken, because the anti-Ken responses were just as ludicrous as the pro, but she was somewhat.

    even if the game doesn't give you a choice to like him, i still think its a foolish reason to give up on the game. no offense to you personally. im just saying what I think.

    Sorry, but FUCK THAT. This game is shit. The complete lack of ability for opinions is stupid in a game about choice, and in a game that is a sequel for a game known for it's morally grey material, and the ability to forge your own fucking relationships.

    No. You can tell him to stop attacking Mike, that his plan is dumb as shit, and that you don't want to do things here and there, but it all sounds like a father-daughter relationship, with a somewhat rebellious daughter.

    I've explained before why I dislike him, but now, after episode 3, I don't care about any of the reasons I hated him before. Regretting the alley? Fine. Leaving Lee under the door? Whatever. Being a prick in general? Who gives a fuck? The fact that such a polarizing character is now set into such a hero position makes me hate him more than anything else ever could.
