Don't they smell bad enough?

Why does everyone need to cover themselves in blood? I mean they haven't taken a shower/bath in so long, they should smell just as bad. Not too bad but bad. I mean they have been covered in walker blood before and its only cleaned by smearing it with a cloth or something. I don't think with soap and water so some of the scent still be there and the surrounding have been only walkers. I mean walkera aren't genius either.

EDIT: why am I getting downvotes? Im sure non of us would smell pleasent with a week at least without a shower...

    I mean, yes, but they still don't smell exactly like death I presume haha.

    They spend too much time around the dead and very close to eachother. I mean there was one on too of Clem and everything!

    Many people have said that the worst smell in the world is a decaying body. I don't know if anyone here has smelled that tho.

    But BO compared to that is like smelling flowers.

    The fact that thousands if not millions of dead people are walking around the planet, I would like to think anybody's last concern is how bad they smell.
