Only one enjoying this episode and season?
There seems to be a lot of negativity at the moment but am I the only one loving this season and the previous episode. Yes I wish it was longer but honestly I'm enjoying the characters, story and am actually a fan of the more streamlined approach. I always played the game for the story not the few easy puzzles.
People can criticise the game I'm not saying they shouldn't but at the same time I think its fair that I can say I really enjoyed the episode and this season, I actually like some of the changes they've made.
Am I alone of does everyone hate the game now? Note that I dont think season 2 is perfect however many of the complaints I'm seeing people make were problems in season 1 as well.

I don't understand the length criticism; for me it lasted one hour 50 minutes which, while annoying, isn't the worst telltale have done (Looking at you, Smoke & Mirrors)
Still I'm having a lot of fun with this season :P Episode 2 is my favorite.
I have no trouble in saying that this Season is much better than the last so far. The premiere was better than the S1 Premiere. It was more intense, made you care about the characters just as S1E1 did(to the point where I count Pete's death to be one of the saddest, despite the fact that we only knew him for one episode), it also had way better pacing. I actually consider A New Day to be the worst episode mainly because as soon as things got moving, it slowed down to a crawl due to massive hub areas. Hub areas can be good. An example would be when you were giving the food out in Episode 2. you could have just given the food and got it done with, or talked to people. But having everything slow down to a snail's pace in Episode one in the drug store was a bad idea...
Of course, I considered A House Divided to be the best episode at the time it came out, and now In Harm's Way to be the best. So individually, each episode has been better than those form Season One.
As for overall problems with the season, people complain about hubs. I personally don't think that it's a problem. I don't care about these characters any less due to the lack of hubs, and honestly, S1 used the hubs wrong a lot of the time. It broke up the pacing of the episode, some were almost useless, etc. Hubs... yeah, not really a problem. Would it be nice to have small areas to get to know characters at the right moments? Sure, but the lack of them isn't really a problem.
The length is also something else people complain a lot about. I don't think any of the episodes have felt "rushed", and I don't believe that any of them have been cut short either. Would it be nice to have longer episodes? Of course, maybe the occasional hub could provide that. I'm neutral on length though. I'd like it, but it hasn't been ruining the episodes for me or anything.
Given all that, I can easily say that I think this Season is significantly better than that first.
I like this season, but it is like cotton candy, it is good, but it doesn't fill you up.
It's pretty obvious at this point that we're only going to be getting episodes like this though so I don't think it's even worth complaining about. Having puzzles and the like at this point wouldn't make sense either since it is well, a video game at the end of the day. A sequel yes, but not the same game as the first season and should be judged by it's own merit.
