I would try to keep calm and walk slowly so they wouldn't notice me, but I'd be so tempted to look to my left, to my right and behind me to see if any of them have spotted me. The problem is that if I were to do that, they might notice me so doing that is very risky.

I would panic but likely walk though my mind would be screaming for me to run.
The thought that if one thing goes wrong it takes a simply head turn on their part to get bitten.
Also depends, if its deep into the apocalypse then it would be calmer then say first few months.
