Facepalm all you like. I have a right to my opinion. If you don't agree, that's cool. But I still say an adult should have crossed that bridge with Luke. Simply because Clem has no one it's okay to put her life in danger? Nice logic.
The reason Luke asks Clem to check out the bridge with him and to talk to the guy on the bridge is because clem is the main character. If Carlos was the main character, he would have asked Carlos to do those things.
At the dinner table, if Clem sits with Luke's group then Kenny gives a similar look of disappointment and comes over to their table.
What? I would never ship that. End of the world or not, that's still wrong. Though I do wonder if Clem will ever meet a boy/girl her age that she might have a crush on? That'd be cool. Clem dealing with personal issues while trying to keep everyone, and herself, alive.
I don't care if Clem's the main character or not. Asking a child to put their life at risk for a group of survivors who had been willing to let her bleed out days before, is irresponsible and stupid. No matter what anyone says, my view on that will never change.
Clem could've stayed behind and spent that time learning more about everyone, since season 2 seems to fail at being anything but vague with its characters.

You are reading way to much into it.
After thinking about it for a while, there are two possibilities:
The first one is that Nick Breckon accidentally made Luke seem like a pedophile even though he probably isn't, but he certainly is a mystery.
The second one is that he is, in fact, a pedophile but most people try to explain his behaviour with something like that he only sees her as a little sister (after not even a week and considering how he treats his friends, that isn't very likely) because they like him so much and don't want him to do anything strange to Clementine and so they will be surprised when his dark secret comes to light (Luke=light lol).
If Clem wasn't asked to do anything it would just be like watching a movie. and if she was just asked to do simple things, the game would be too easy and boring.
"season 2 seems to fail at being anything but vague with its characters." I agree 100%.
I'm really not.

Yeah, I'm not saying all the time, but they should've at least gave us a decision for the bridge scene. I don't think I would ever risk myself for survivors who give me the roundabout with anything I ask them.

There is no reason to hate Luke
Saved Clem in episode 1 with Pete
Luke vollunteers to go to the bridge first to secure it
Luke has not lied to us beside the question" Why would Carver be following us"
Luke attempted a rescue mission in episode 3
I agree. I wouldn't either and TTG did a horrible job at developing the relationship between Clem and the rest of the characters.
I don't agree with putting children in dangerous situations irl, but I accept it in the game because they are fictional characters in a fictional world.

I wasn't worried about him at all until after he showed up with no rest and acted so strangely. He could have just been delirious but we have no idea what happened to him while he was alone out there.
people thought he was bit at first BLAH BLAH but he wast, he was just hungry and tired BLAH BLAH BLAH
but I still get this weird feeling from him. like he is hiding something -_-
Calm down, I disagree with your opinion, not with how you feel.
That Luke does not send pedophile vibes to ME; does not mean that you can't feel uncomfortable by what YOU feel.
You have a right to you opinion!
But when you open a thread about it, you don't need to wonder that people answer and explain that they don't see/feel it.
AKA: What I meant with my comment.
How can you disagree with how I feel? You disagree that Luke gives off pedophile vibes to me?
How does that make any type of sense?
… more I didn't know Luke was a character people liked to discuss. I really just wanted to see if anyone else found him slightly off-putting.
Maybe it's not because they disagree with your opinion, but that your pedo vibes from Luke statement comes out of nowhere. I'm following what you're saying up until that point, then wondering "What? Where did you make that leap in logic?"
So, you say Luke is putting too much responsibility and expectations on an 11 year old girl. Fair enough, I more or less agree with that statement. But then in the very next sentence, jumping to Luke having romantic desires toward the same 11 year old girl? Somewhat of a leap in logic.
Let me say again, I'm not putting down your opinion. But if you had left of the very last sentence in your argument, I never would have thought of the pedophilia angle.

Eh, opinions don't actually need plausible logic. It's why it's an opinion, and not a fact. I added the last sentence because it's how I feel and think about it.

You're giving to much thought about the dinner scene, if you sat with the cabin group then Kenny will switch tables too, it doesnt mean they… more're being protective of Clem, it just means that they're trying to get to know each other. The sad puppy eyes Luke gave was kinda creepy though, how can he not see that Clem wants to sit with an old friend?
The bridge scene weirded me out too though, Carlos was right on this one, she is just a little girl, im sure Luke could've picked any of the other members from the group.
Are you serious? I play this as if I'm actually a part of the game. If in real life I was nominated to go to the bridge, I would not. It would be stupid for a little girl to play big girl for Luke's benefit.
Well, that reasoning is odd, but your opinion. I'm just saying I wouldn't send a 9 year old, or however old exactly, to risk her life just because she's wise. Would you send an elementary kid with an amazing IQ and wisdom beyond their years to fight in a war, just because they're "wise"?
Ok, i worded it wrong. What i mean is she's capable. She can defend herself, and has been through much worse then crossing a bridge. We all saw how well she handled it,

Vibes aside, I didn't know how to feel about him when he came back. He was skittish and it was weird. I, idiotically, fell for the whole "tired" guise, until my friend pointed out that wasn't a very good excuse. Besides, he almost left Kenny behind. Since when did he decide it was okay to leave behind the weak and have no faith? If there was one good thing I liked about Luke, it was that he never gave up on anyone. Then again, he and Kenny never got along...I, personally, have a grudge against Kenny as Lee. But as Clementine, I adore the man.

That doesn't have to do with the pedo vibes. That's just plain freaking me out, that I feel like he is like my younger brother, at times. The whole post isn't about pedo vibes, just most. Other parts is about him just plain freaking me out.

Since Clementine is the playable character, the game designers have to treat her as the most important person in the game.
So having Luke treat her the way he does makes sense.
End of story.
Playing devil's advocate. Which means, had no one disagreed, he most likely would've stuck with what he said. He wanted to hear opposing arguments either to see if anyone agreed with him, or so their reasoning could convince him from doing such a thing. In either case, a person plays devil's advocate usually to see where their suggestion stands among the crowd and if they can actually get away with it.

Pedophile vibes? Really? Is that a thing now?
I think he was just a bit disappointed because he raised his hand first and wanted to sit with her.
Well clem is wiser beyond her years, so i dont see her as just a little girl
Perhaps.
You kinda are overthinking this.

True. But they didn't know she would handle it so well.
On a side note, had Lee been there, I doubt it would've even been an option.
Yeah lee probably wouldn't have let her but......![:( :(](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
Now i'm kind of curious, how is bringing clementine on the bridge giving you pedophile vibes?

Fair enough i suppose.
About leaving Kenny behind, he said he was playing devils advocate. So he didn't really want to leave Kenny behind.
