Sarah and the Gun

Back at EP2 of the TWD S2, when Sarah introduced Clementine the gun that she found under her bed while briefly sitting down and thinking about something, she asked Clementine if Clem could teach her which she will accept or decline her offer depending on your choice, but if you (as Clem) do teach her, I believe it will highly impact Sarah herself for the next upcoming episode because after she witnessed the horrifying death of her beloved father's death namely Carlos and ran away into the herd, if she still carries that gun with her after finding it under her bed in EP2, theres the chance she will survive with the gun on her hands thanks to Clem teaching her. I just hope she's okay even though she's annoying. O;

  • I didn't teach her so if her knowing how to use is saves her, im screwed.
  • If she still has it with her on hand without letting Carlos know, then theres still a chance she will survive through the herd of walkers if she doesn't get bit, devoured, or commit suicide :o

I think it either one of the two situations could involve the gun.

Sarah had the gun with her the whole time and took some ammo when no one was looking in the stock room. If you taught her how to use it she will be alive, if not well then Sarah couldn't defend herself and got bitten and unfortunatetly you'll have to use the same gun to put her out of her misery.

    Or

Regardless Sarah turns up alive however Clementine (or another character) is being grabbed by a walker during the attack, and depending on whether you taught Sarah how to use a gun depends on either Clementine or that character getting bitten and the episode ending.
  • That "teaching" was so vague i doubt it will affect.

    Clem: Its just a thing

    Sarah: What does that mean?

Clem: IDK, squeeze the trigger steadily

    Sarah: Why?

    Clem: IDK

    Sarah: Hey Lukes back.

    Yeah.. she's pro now!
  • I hope she doesn't do suicide judging by the determinant foreshadowing back in episode 2.
  • Lol xD

  • Telltale made her find the gun under her bed for a reason and that reason by may be for her survival through the herd and something else that we may eventually find out in the upcoming episode. & I think you're right on the second one. :o

  • but the this is, if she had it this whole time don't you thin she would have given it to someone to kill carver when he was beating Kenny, and carvers crew took all there stuff away so I don think she has it. although she could find one...

That would suck if you randomly run into her, but all you see is her on the ground with her back towards you and then clem is like "sarah?!?"

And the BOOM! The gun goes off and her body slumps over.

That would be even more unexpected and shocking the omids death. And u have no idea were I got that idea from.

  • Damn. That would really be depressing. I'd cry :'(

  • I doubt she has that gun, Carver would have taken it when he caught them all, now what i think and i agree with you, maybe while running away she finds some walkers and a dead guy with a gun, and her survival depends on if she knows how to use it or not, but theres no way she still has that gun
  • She probably did or did not off-screen & you got a point about Carver's men and Bonnie took all their stuff away. Though, Sarah could've hid the gun in her jacket pocket or pants pocket but you never know :\

  • She would have to be really quick and fast if she finds another gun on a dead guy's body in the middle of the herd or elsewhere. I don't know if she actually still has it but it's just my theory lol :p

  • I'm sorry what? How was the "teaching" at all vague you just watered it down. She told Sarah what Lee taught her. No one is even hinting that she's pro but she at least must have some idea how to use the gun now.

  • Maybe it will be like if you leave Clem with Omid in episode 4. If you taught her she is attacked by a walker and she shoots it, but if you didn't teach her she runs away from it and you have to kill it. Wouldn't affect the story too much but would at least show us it mattered.
  • I know lol and i agree with it don't worry XD i just find hard to believe she still has that gun :0 but i think she passed that herd and she still has that "walker eau de toilette" so she should be fine for a while xD

Lol xD I find it hard as well but if it turns out to be true then it's best to believe it lol ;p & i agree with you, I want to see her reaction to Sarita's bite on her wrist or her arm chopped off xDD

  • There is an achievement called (A Heavy Burden--
Returned to the meeting place) and has sarah pic in it so she might have survived from the herd and Clem is going to meet her at the house
  • I never pinky swear sarah so no matter what I could not teach her to use a gun.
  • It is like someone is teaching me how to finally swim.

"You just move your arms and legs"

And then a WEEK later im going to pool and pretty much drown.

Point is she didn't actually fire that gun, she just looked at it confused and listens tips she didn't understand, so yeah... it was vague.

  • How did she not understand the tips? For example in my playthrough Clementine said that she should aim for the head unless it's a person trying to hurt you then she can shoot anywhere. That knowledge could come incredibly useful to Sarah because if a walker attacks her what if she shoots it in the chest?

She knows now to shoot it in the head.

  • It was pretty obvious to shoot in the head, but yes... in that context it's a fine tip.

BUT in mine it was squeeze the trigger cause idk, not very helpful.

  • "Return to the meeting place" I think it is the house in the first episode, she met Sarah in it remember? When she asked her for medical supplies

  • "the girl with something extra" as it were? lol. you'd think troy would catch something like that, as concerned about her as he was at the start of episode 3 *snicker*

She probably did or did not off-screen & you got a point about Carver's men and Bonnie took all their stuff away. Though, Sarah could've hid the gun in her jacket pocket or pants pocket but you never know :\

  • Oh I see, Lee told Clem to squeeze the trigger steadily. Maybe depending on what you told Clementine depends on how effective Sarah is with a gun? That'd be a good choice.

It was pretty obvious to shoot in the head, but yes... in that context it's a fine tip. BUT in mine it was squeeze the trigger cause idk, not very helpful.

  • But Carver would have searched the group for weapons when he captured them so unless she stole it back she wont have it anymore. Doesn't mean she can't find a new one though

  • Well, Clemintine managed to save Molly from a Walker, and the only training she had was shooting bottles which were static; a contrast to the target that was attempting to sink its teeth into Molly. So I guess it's not impossible for a character in this game to learn how to use firearms quickly.

That "teaching" was so vague i doubt it will affect. Clem: Its just a thing Sarah: What does that mean? Clem: IDK, squeeze the trigger steadily Sarah: Why? Clem: IDK Sarah: Hey Lukes back. Yeah.. she's pro now!

  • They would most likely put the gun in the stock room, regardless she could have had the perfect time to pick it up whilst no one was looking and whilst Clementine was turning on the PA system.
