Quiet Clementine! The adults are talking

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
For the first time ever I actually chose the silence option in Episode 3. It was usually when 2 or more of the adults were talking and it just didn't feel appropriate for my cannon renegade Clem to interrupt. I was just wondering if I was in this boat alone.

SPOILERS AHEAD. BUT YOU GUYS SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO BE ON TELLTALEGAMES.COM AFTER AN EPISODE IS RELEASED. THIS IS not ABOUT STEAMS RELEASE!!!! You've been warned

Ps i'd press the "This post contains spoilers" but that just makes it annoying when you come back to look at this. Enjoy and sorry to everybody who read this before I edited it.

  • Well when Carlos said that to clem I was like , you piece of shit then later I forgave him
  • I used the silent option more than usual in this episode. Not wanting to piss off Carver, wanting Bonnie to get the hint that I didn't like her, or not liking any of the dialogue options.
  • Carlos you bish
  • Before this episode my silence options were usually on a silence play through (which I would always eventually start talking) or by accident. Some of them seemed too nice for my Clem since I play as what some would call "scumbag" Clem and others were just kind of taking Carlos advice though that's not why I was quiet. It just didn't seem natural for a kid to jump into some of those conversations like the game wanted you to, but I guess that's why they give you the silence option.

    I was like:

    'Oh, that's what this is?'

and wanted to shout that at my monitor/Carlos.

Luckily, Clem did it for me.

    Thanks, Clem :)
  • We can all agree Carlos is an idiot. In fact every Carlos except one that I have ever met has been an idiot. Actually he kind of was too. But this is NOT about Carlos. I actually forgot he said that when I created this thread lol.

RIP Carlos and *loudly wispers* SHUT UP SARAH!!!!
  • When does Carlos say this? This didn't happen in my playthrough.

  • I never got that line. I was too busy telling Kenny how stupid this plan was.
  • Carlos seemed to be the only sensible adult from the cabin group after Pete's demise.
  • To Peter Joseph Randall!

  • Just agreeing with Carver's try-hard sociopathic speech and then later killing him was more like my style.

  • Well this thread went way off subject. I should have titled it something else apparently.

Why so many downvotes? Was I the only one mean to Sarah? I said before I play as renegade Clem. Its not like I pulled a renegade Shepard and just decide to shoot everybody in the face I come across just because he's/she's too lazy to talk them out of something.

Well since this is already off subject, I still cant decide if my favorite part was killing Carver or Jane shooting Troy in the dick. *in Eric Cartmans voice* "Damnit Butters, You don't shoot a man in the dick! okay?"
  • Spoilers, not everyone has finished episode 3 but you just told everybody who reads this post that Carlos dies.

  • I would assume people would lay off the Telltale games site till they get a chance to play the episode themselves. Sorry if I ruined it for anybody, but if I, he who truly has no life, can stay off this site till I get the episode, then so can yall. I barely got it today and knowing that it was released to us 360 users on Wednesday made it the hardest wait yet. Trust me I barely ruined anything for you guys, this episode didn't have a single dull moment. Im not just saying that cause its the newest episode either. Again very sorry, but you guys should know better. You don't watch the news if you haven't seen the Superbowl yet after all.

  • I tried to be pro Kenny but I had to keep telling him his plan was stupid or i'd give him the silent treatment. I didn't want that mad look from him. You all know the one.

I thought about that as I was getting ready to shoot him.

  • You would be surprised by the amount of people who come on here before they play episodes. I know of a couple on here who haven't even started episode 1 of season 2.

  • Wow, how have they avoided spoilers? If they have avoided them. I got on here after episode 2 came out and regretted it as it ruined the Kenny surprise. I didn't complain or go around down voting people or complaining like a little, never mind no need to get offensive lol jk. but that's because I knew it was my fault. I thought the guy on the bridge (Bam Neck if I recall his name correctly) was going to be Kenny till we got closer to him.

It even said in the post that this was about episode 3 so people should have definitely known better than to scroll down and check what people are saying about the episode in the comments.

If I sound like im coming off as an asshole im not meaning too. Just voicing ehm typing my opinion on the matter.

Damn you auto correct for not turning i into I anymore. what the hell. i cant be lazy no more. that make i a little annoyed..

I like Kenny, but his plan was the dumbest thing I think I've ever heard. They would have shot him instantly.

  • Yeah good thing the breaks were bad on that truck. I thought they were about to pull an Omid on Kenny.

  • Sadly, I knew it was going to happen. My friend watched part of a let's play of it before I got to play it and spoiled that part.

  • I hate when friends do that. When I was in high school my friend would always watch WWE Friday Night Smackdown at his house 3 days before it aired on TV and it would piss me off cause I didn't want to watch it till it came on TV. It would ruin my Fridays since I would have nothing else to watch. Oh the days before I got Dish network were dark days indeed.

    Same thing different series, basically.

  • Same here, I used the silent options, because there were no "Stop talking to me" options when talking to Bonnie, and I kept quiet a lot around Carver and Troy.

  • I didn't like Bonnie at all till the end of this episode.

I hated her for being a home wrecker in 400 days. I hated her more in episode 2 for obvious reasons. But now I think I actually like her character now. Took long enough lol jk

  • I enjoyed being silent to Reggie and then apologizing to Mike for waking him up. Reggie completely calls you out on it. It made me laugh.

Carlos; Quiet Clementine! The adults are talking.
Me: Wait are you a adult?!
  • Haha I know the voice actor from a lot of shows and even Adventure Time so I couldn't even be mean to him. im going to have to try that.

New favorite line from the series. Well that was awkward, I wont do that again.

  • Yeah. I was nice to him the first time. But I've got my mean playthrough. I said something to Sarah about not trusting him. So then Sarah turns around and tells Reggie clem doesn't trust him.

Clem gives Sarah the funniest death glare.

  • I do this a lot. Clementine was shown to be relatively quiet and non-confrontational in Season One.
  • What did Clem say if he said that??
