What is your opinion of Bonnie?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
Though temporarily misguided by Carver's charisma, with help she saw Carver for what he really was, and then stepped up to help Clementine , Kenny and the others.

She has shown herself, in my opinion, to be a very warm, loving and selfless young woman.
And I think she'll prove herself to be a great asset to the group.

  • I never really hated, even though the thing that happened in episode 2 (because after 400 days I really thought she was a good person). She seems really nice and I really loved the dialogue between her and Clem in episode 3.

I really think Bonnie just didn't see who Carver truly was and needed someone to change her mind, she clearly isn't a leader imo but she will be really helpful for the group anyway.
  • I realy like her now. She's my favorite character from 400 days.
  • I like her. I can see her developing this sort of motherly affection for Clem that I really enjoy.
  • I like her. She's earned my trust back.
  • I liked her during 400 Days but not like other characters. She was just... okay. Well, in S02E02 I knew that she's lying and after she showed up with Carver I was like "What a bitch!". Anyway I really like her after episode 3. She was great, she helped Clementine and the others. Can't wait to see what will happen to her in episode 4.
  • I hear that!

  • She's very easily manipulated, but she has a good heart and is extremely loyal. She and Clem can keep each other entertained with countless rounds of "would you rather".
  • Mine too.
When I saw her attack the group with Carver, I was understandably suspicious of her.
However, after witnessing her actions and her loving concern for Clementine and the others, she has more than earned my trust back.

  • Bonnie: "Would you rather have a lobster claws for a hand or a snake for a tongue?"
    Clemenetine: "Are you serious?"

  • She fucked up my trust in Ep2, but she helped a lot in Ep3.

    Now I trust her 100%.
  • How blind must you be to not see that Carver is no good? Also lol at "extremely loyal" when she betrayed the trust of the people she was working with. That woman is toxic.
  • I'm cautious to be honest.

Lets not forget Martinez in the comics. Her whole arc is eerily similar.
  • I actually never hated her. I saw episode 2, and how she was with Carver, but I didn't really hate her for it. I was like "shame on you, Bonnie" for like the last bit of episode 2, after that I didn't feel anything negative towards her.
  • I was quite indifferent towards her in the 400 Days DLC. Angered in Ep2, but Ep3 changed everything.

I think she has very strong survival instincts and knows how to act around others to ensure her security. Although she can be manipulative to meet her ends, I think ultimately she is a person who genuinely wants to do what is good. She has a good grasp on her sense of morality, although some other actions in Ep2 may prove otherwise.... Then again TWD is all about questioning the grey shades in the term.
  • I like Bonnie, she was the only one who seemed to care when Troy hit Clem, no one even commented on it!
  • Just in response to no one commenting on Clementine getting decked.
I know Kenny would've been ready to tear Troy's head off, had not been beaten by Carver.

  • I didn't trust her until the plan was put into motion, I felt like she was working both of the groups. Now, I can say she's in the circle of trust. She better not fuck it up though.
