'We're going to have to start thinking about leaving some people behind'

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
If that was the next big 'choice' of the episode- to stay with the group or leave with only those who were able- what would you have decided? Would you be able to leave people like Kenny behind, especially after he lost an eye protecting you?

When Luke mentioned that, I was so sure that would be the next major decision; the much-awaited 'Luke vs. Kenny' question (in a sense)

  • I would never EVER leave Kenny behind. Not a chance in hell!

He was there since day 1. Like he said, he and Lee had their differences, but Kenny was the most important companion for both Lee and Clem!
Everything he gave up, everything he did for Clementine, to keep her safe. I, for one, will stand with Kenny until the end!
  • Short answer: HELL NO.

The first achievement says "Get separated from the group", so after Mike said Luke and Carlos know where the meeting place is, I thought for sure that the final decision of ep. 3 would be to pick your group (obviously, Carlos would be with Kenny and without Luke, to make the decision tougher). Now I don't know what to think.
  • what if telltale was trying to foreshadow with this?

remember pizza and ice cream? maybe we will have to pic one but have to leave the other behind.

(KENNY OR LUKE)- cant have both.
  • After what Kenny had just done for me? Not a chance in hell. Everyone else could have gone for all I cared, but I would have stayed with that man to the end.
  • Noooo. :c

  • No! Kenny is coming with me no mather what.
  • I wouldn't leave someone behind, well it depends on the person but in this case I wouldn't leave Kenny. They could problably escape a little later, since Bonnie will help them get out, so it doesn't matter much when.

Also if we left Kenny we would leave Sarita too, and for the trouble we caused them (also for what happened to Matthew and Walter) that doesn't seem all to nice. I mean you could leave them if you had no feelings whatsoever but I don't think any human is like that, except Carver lols.
  • I agree with you guys wholeheartedly.

Then again, TT is all about the 'grey shades' within a situation that prevent a decision from being so clear cut. Considering that:
    1) The walker herd are getting closer and closer, and WILL attack 'soon'
    2) Odds are that tonight could very well be the only opening for escape before the attack
    3) The longer the group stays, the more they are at risk of Carver's wrath (who could retaliate further if he feels he hasn't punished them enough)
    4) The longer they stay, the more difficult it will be to escape (Rebecca could deliver her baby soon)

Would you still make that decision? It could be the difference between life and death.
  • I'm a hypocrite when it comes to hard choices I'm not gonna lie but that's what gets you through the apocalypse with the people you love. If there was a choice regarding my safety and leaving some of the cabin crew behind I would do so with no questions asked however if it was on the other foot with Kenny or Sarita there would be no chance in hell I would leave them behind. To my Clem they are the only family she has left and the only people I trust.
