Am I the only one... (e3 spoilers)
who doesn't like Jane? I don't dislike her either, but I'm noticing in the forums she's getting a fanbase and I'm not sure why... For me her only claim to fame was shooting Troy in the dick... and I'm not even too sure how I feel abou that...

And she certainly looks like she knows what she is doing! I want her to teach clementine so new survival skills. but ya I think Jane has a lot of potential.
She could be a real bitch and looking from episode 4 preview it seems that way. She tells Clem that her group is holding her back and wants her to ditch them. No thanks Jane, I've known you for a small part of an episode, she's coming off worse than Luke has ...
Molly was a good girl. Rude, but good. I have a feeling Jane is going to be an "evil Molly" if you will, a lone wolf that wants to sway Clem away from the group and I'm not having ANY of that.
I don't know why
Mike was pretty cool though.
she is like a "dirty urban version" of Molly. rsrs
As Kenny once said, 'You fight it out for the folks you care about' or something like that!!
And for the record, you don't shoot people in the dick, uncool!!
But she disturbs me somewhat.
Episode 3 brought up a lot of moments regarding humanity in regards to the lives of others, or the lack of it. For example, Luke saying that as much as he hates Carver, executing him is still going too far. And the way Kenny and Carver regard taking lives. And Rebecca too, as she actively wants Carver dead with all her heart.
I'm seeing a choice coming up between doing the humane thing, and the doing the best thing for your own survival.
Jane is an example of a character that only cares about her own survival, to the point that it has twisted her into a special kind of monster. The short hair, the badass attitude, she's Clem in the future if she goes down the path Carver expected her too by abandoning her humanity.
Luke represents keeping hold of compassion and humanity, and Jane is all about abandoning it and doing only what's necessary to survive.
She's going to try and groom Clementine to be like her, and probably end up putting her in incredible danger.
