  • Yep... at the same time it was really cheap, I think it was the moment I cried the most this season. Not only because he was one of my favorite charaters, Christa's face just broke me. :/

Omid's death was pretty sad... The best/worse way to begin Season 2

  • Yeah, it's the perfect exemple on why someone like Lee/Bigby should be on Season 2. If one of those two were there, that girl would be dead even before Omid got to the bathroom.

As much as I like playing with Clementine, I'd prefer to play with a more powerful person or, at the very least, a more adult Clem.

I for one actually find the scene with Danny being left behind to be devoured by walkers pretty sad. Even if the whole St. John family was a bunch of monsters, they weren't always that way. It seems like everything went downhill after Brenda's husband died, and the family just fell apart. It's unfortunate that they never got to redeem themselves, and they all died with attempting to murder a group of innocent people including kids being the last thing they ever did. It hits me fairly hard when you see Brenda's zombie stumbling toward Danny who has accepted his fate and is just kneeling down on the shattered remains of his life.

The truly saddest moment other than Lee's death is a very difficult choice, though. I'm torn between Kenny's family being taken away from him in a matter of minutes, the boy in the attic of the Savannah house, Omid's death, and Clementine's breakdown after killing Sam.
  • ok..... fuck the St. johns though

  • Mine is weird but when mark died was the sadist for me ( I was more sad here than LEE'S death)
  • Stealing the walker in ep.3's animal crackers.Still gets me choked up now. :(
  • I find the boy in the attic to be exceptionally sad, even rivaling Lee's death.
  • Katjaa and Duck. After they died, the group was a shell of its former self, with only three characters from Episode 1 still alive. And seeing Kenny so broken over the loss of his family just did me in. I got choked up when I finally got him to stop the train (I talked him down), I teared up when he and Katjaa were discussing what to do with Duck, and I just full on started crying when Katjaa shot herself and Kenny just completely broke down. And by that point, we still had to take care of Duck...
  • When I chose to shoot Duck. Man...that was so hard. I was balling my eyes out.
  • damn ....you are so right ! after this scene i had to pause the game because it was too much ! also, the scene with the 2 parents on the bed that committed suicide was very hard too

  • Carlos's death really hit me. He didn't even get to say goodbye to Sarah... :(
  • when Lee and Clem find on the bed the 2 parents that committed suicide
  • Yeah, and can you believe that so many TWD fans actually BLAME Sarah for screaming in anguish when her dad was massacred right in front of her? Who the hell is so heartless as to call Sarah out for her reactions to every single terrible thing that's happened to her? Jesus, Sarah better be in salvageable condition when she's found in episode 4. I won't be satisfied until I see her smile again.

Carlos's death really hit me. He didn't even get to say goodbye to Sarah... :(

Carleys' death, far and away. She and Lees' blooming relationship was the tendril of hope in the fucked up universe of The Walking Dead, the promise of love and affection in a world so brutal and unforgiving. And then she was just... Gone. Just like that. Every hope, every dream, every chance of normalcy, gone in the blink of an eye. Her death was what made me realize Telltales' brutal genius. It was the event that I always think of when I think of The Walking Dead Game. It has literally scarred me. I always think of her when I hear this song:

    Beeswing - Richard Thompson

"Brown hair zig-zag 'round her face
And a look of half surprise
Like a fox caught in the headlights
There was animal in her eyes
She said 'young man, oh, can't you see
    I'm not the factory kind
If you don't take me out of here
    I'll surely lose my mind'

Oh, she was a rare thing
    Fine as a beeswing
So fine a breath of wind might blow her away
    If I could just taste
    All of her wildness now
If I could hold her in my arms today
Well, I wouldn't want her any other way"

  • Or a cold hearted fucker like me and said GOOD NIGHT ROBIN

When I chose to shoot Duck. Man...that was so hard. I was balling my eyes out.

  • Yeah. And specially I think that Kenny is strong, seeing his wife commit suicide.

Katjaa and Ducks death was pretty affecting. The speech Katjaa gave about loving Duck more than life itself was a beautifully written scene

  • Yes and she probably understands now why Lee didn't tell her the truth. Because she couldn't take it if she knew that her parent was walkers.

For me probably when Clem sees her parents as walkers. Imagine how she must feel - she had this childish hope that they were still alive for so long and then they're not. Also Omid's death...

  • Yeah, I reckon that has to be just about the worst thing that could happen to a man. Losing your wife and kid within a minute of one another.

Yeah. And specially I think that Kenny is strong, seeing his wife commit suicide.

  • Alvin's death got me pretty good. Props to Dorian Lockett for such a well acted scene
  • Hrm i guess the only other thing that i thought was sad or upsetting about the game other than Lee Death would be the scene when Carlos slaps his daughter. I had to stop playing the game for about 30 minutes, it just got too real.
  • Lee being bitten.

It wasn't sad per se, but it broke me. The feeling of being "untouchable", as the main character, it shattered. Realizing there will be NO happy ending, that I will not be able to keep Clementine safe. That scene was the most emotional, to me, because it had the most impact on the story, as well as on me!

Well... Season one: Ben's death and Kenny's "death" || Season two: Omid or Alvin's (Episode Three) death

Seriously though... I was so happy that the walking dead was back and when Omid died, I had to pause the game and cry for like five minutes...
  • I wasn't sad at that moment, i was just really angry/annoyed. I really liked Lee's Character and i knew after that he was doomed. When they gave us the chance to cut off his arm it was like a glimmer of hope, but i should of known it wouldn't of worked if it was a player choice!

  • I wasn't angry/annoyed as much, as I was shocked. As I said, "sad" is not the right word, tbh, but this scene had undoubtedly the most impact on me, besides his death of course... Cried like a little bitch there, and I ain't scared to admit that!

So did everyone else, AND they handled it well. Ben did cause at least 3 people to die.

  • Season 1: Ben's death and anytime Clementine cried

Season 2: Sam's Death(as a animal lover that scene killed me) and Nick's eventual death(we all know its gonna happen we're looking at a Doug/Carly situation.
