Carver referring to himself as "It".

Right before Kenny kills him he says to Clem "Atta girl... she ain't afraid to look IT in the eye", I thought this was a pretty good indication that Carver recognizes that he is an Animal, he also somewhat foreshadows alittle by saying that if she goes with the feeling she has right now, she'll strive past anything, he didn't put down Clem at that point which was odd given how his character was displayed the entire episode; maybe what he said will be what will let Clem strive through the next couple of episodes and possible letting her live this season.

  • He's talking about the whole situation and not just himself but i agree with the rest and i actually think that was the whole point of the episode, just to give an idea of what Clem is set to become.

Or maybe he's referring to death itself. "Atta girl... she ain't afraid to look death in the eye". I think it's a metaphor.

Or maybe he's referring to something else. Remember earlier he compared himself to Clementine. Then in that scene he also said "You go with that feeling in your gut it'll make you stronger." like Lee once said "We're all monsters now"
  • I would of liked Carver to of revealed some info about his past like what he did before the apocalypse, would of been interesting to know.

  • Carver is a cyborg, explains him getting up after a shot like that in ep 2 ending. :D

That would also explain why he didnt bother to treat the wound and spent all of episode 3 wearing a bloody [and i dont mean british slang] jacket.
