Did _____ get smacked in the chops for you?

[Clementine]

I managed to run the episode entirely through without getting hit. Any of you guys manage this too? I think you get hit for trying to help Kenny, staying to long in the room looking for Luke [so that Troy has to get you] and some other points that I can't remember.

    If you say "I know", or talk about the radio and then say "None of your business", or if you continue to stare at Carver at the beginning, you get smacked by Carver. I got hit 3 times in this episode :/ ugh

    In my playthrough, Clementine got smacked a lot. Defiance and poor impulse control (on my part) will do that. I think she got hit three times.

    Troy also gives her a little smack in the back of the head with the barrel/handguard of his AK when Bonnie asks for Clem's help in the armory (post walkie-talkie theft) Not sure if that really counts though.

    nope. my clem got hit 2 times in this episode. and once in episode 2. its not like I wanted her to it just happened.

    and she saw carvers death.

    and I walked out of the comic book store immediately so troy didn't hit me.

    I kind of intentionally got Clem hit with the gun. I knew what would happen because of the trailer, but I wanted to have Clem try to be the hero and I though Clem having the cut would be cool for the story. Also, it showed how ruthless Troy and Carver really were.

    Every freaking time. I got smacked every occasion I had, poor clem. I guess being sassy with carver & co wasn't the brightest idea.

    Yeah, I also assumed the ice queen routine I used with Carver in episode 2 would continue to serve Clementine well. I was wrong.

    I lowered the sass after I got smacked across the face in the very first scene. I still gathered the courage to speak up every now and then (and said EVERYTHING was my fault every chance I got). I also got hit with the gun when Kenny was getting his butt kicked. I knew something bad would happen but I just said "fuck it" and went for it.

    My Clem is a fighter, she doesn't back down from anyone, she doesn't apologise to Carver and she'll try to help Kenny when he needs it. Unfortunately Clem acting like that leads to her getting beaten up :( but she can take it, "she's tough as hell"

    My Clementine also wasn't hit throughout the entire episode.

    Actually same here, not entirely but seeing the trailer did influence my decision there, since I realized that I'd get hit by Troy if I tried to help Kenny. I ended up deciding I would do it anyway, because my Clem would definitely try and help Kenny.

    I got hit twice. First, I got hit by Troy, when I spent too much time in the store talking to Luke. Then, the second time was when I tried to help Kenny and got smacked by Troy AGAIN.

    After watching a few let's plays of this episode I noticed that the number of times Clem gets hit by Carver during the episode changes the dialogue a little bit in the episode 4 preview where Clementine is taking off Kenny's eye patch. People who didn't get hit got Clementine saying, that Carver wouldn't have hit her. People that had Carver smack Clementine, she says that Carver wouldn't have been as vicious.

    I've never got hit in this Season so far. Even I didn't get a single hit in Season One. Because I was...you know...urban? Only [Not Helping Kenny] makes me feel sad. I wanted to help him but Carver would easily stop me.
