Help escaping from zombie behind shelf - Season 2, Episode 3

Hi I've been trying to get away from this zombie forever, in episode 3. He chases Clem behind a shelf, I keep sliding to the left but he gets me anyway - I'm playing the iPhone version. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    probably just a glitch or error. I would try starting the episode over which I know sucks but if that still does not work, I would try to re-install the application. I would try a few more times however.

    I'll try - thanks! I got to the part where you have to try to push the shelf away from you, but only once. Every other time, just as I'm about to get there, the zombie gets me. So annoying! Thanks again.

    Now i'm not playing on the iOS version, but on the PC it doesn't matter how many times you mash a button or click something, because it has this maximum amount of force to it. It's like a cooldown before you can use the command again. So i suggest trying to slide it more carefully or just slower and more firm. Just trying to help :)

    I have re-installed and am still having the same problem! If I slide too slowly the zombie gets me. I am beyond frustrated! Can anyone help?

    I have the same problem, very frustrating. Have anyone with an iphone made it through? :(
