petition to the dude who makes the trailers.

Make them less spoilery please. The trailer revealed waaaaay too much especially what could be considered one of the most important scenes in the episode(troy hits clem). It was also very misleading.

Comments

  • I think it's the opposite.
  • Well, it was funny how Troy was so hated after the trailer.
  • lol I like how before the episode came out everyone knew Kenny was the one who kills Carver because of the trailer XD
  • Well, for me It's much easier said than done...

  • Lucky you but the trailers are so good and the hype is so high that it's hard to not click them.

  • Then what do you expect them to do for the trailers? Just have Clem say "my name is Clementine" for every trailer?
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just saying that there is no way to make a trailer less "spoilery"

  • Yeah well I expect trailers to be sorta spoilery which is how they are for TWD and a little bit less with TWAU but they're trailers that are REALLY spoilery like Terminator Salvation's trailer spoiled that the main character wasn't human...

After the episode 2 trailer spoiled the whole Matthew - Walter connection I stayed away from the last one thankfully, and the forums just to be sure.
  • At least they're not spoiling deaths. betrayal, or anything like that. In the trailer for Episode 2, Troy came to the cabin instead of Carver. They didn't spoil Carver...

  • That was spoiled all the way back in the "i thought you were dead" preview in ep1

Nah, it was the knife in the trailer that did it for me.

To clarify, it spoiled what was going to happen next the moment you picked up the knife ingame.

That they where somehow connected isn't that big of a spoiler.

  • So you complain about the trailer being too spoilery... then end your post with saying that it was too misleading.

    Huh.
  • The trailers are expected to have spoilers. What else would they show? The entirety of the gameplay revolves around the story.

They aren't going to change their trailers just because one person doesn't like the way they display the storyline.
