Why hasn't that been referenced, you would think someone would of started singing. UNBELIEVABLE WRINGING X_X

That was the first thing i thought when i heard that name, and i have been known to bust into chorus on ocassion.

  • Well, Kenny has referred to Clem as "darlin'" if that does anything for ya.
  • "DARLIN?" - Dee, 400 Days DLC
  • "I see which side your bread is buttered on." - Dee, from that same DLC.

To this day, I have no idea what she was saying.

  • That song is about a dead girl named Clementine, isn't it?

Maybe not the most tactful song to be singing in her presence.,

She is referring to that one day Leland had the end piece of a loaf of bread and buttered the crusty end, like a complete and utter buffoon.

  • Oh Bonnie, you card, you.

Still, such a strange expression. I caught the adultery part, but that statement always confuses the hell out of me. It's so weird. It makes me think of toast, not adultery.

  • It basically means that she thinks Leland was more loyal to Bonnie than her. The expression isn't exclusively used to refer to adultery, it is more of a "So THAT'S the side your on" but with toast.

    " Why hasn't that been referenced "

Kenny called Clem " darlin " 2-3 times already...
  • I tried that shit bro. It was all wrong. Just like the end piece in general.

  • Yeah... someone should make a version that has to do with TWDG Clementine, I tried, but completely failed.

Kenny: Oh my gosh... I just realized something...

    Clem: ?

*Kenny bursts into song- singing oh my darling clementine*

    Clem: Dafuq?

  • Do you think Clementine got her name for the song or the fruit?
  • You gotta imagine Ben's face too, makes everything that much better. His face is fucking fab

Seeing as the song in question involves the girl drowning to death, I can't imagine any parent naming their child off of that. I'd say the fruit. :S

Hell, maybe they were fans of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

  • Well, I looked up on Google and found this definition:

"to be loyal to the person or thing that will benefit you the most".

    Or this:

"to know who to be nice to and what to do in order to get an advantage."

I don't want Clem getting bad karma because of that song.

  • But, the song makes the name sound so much edgier. Gotta get those pre-teen COD kids one way or another

  • I would also make jokes of her name. I would call her Clementimes, and sometimes i would say. Clementimes 2 =

  • The name Clementine means merciful or mild, which fits her personality really well. Plus, it's just a really cute name.

  • I think they should play it during one of the credits, with Janel Drewis singing again.
  • I want to hear Clementine sing it :D

    I would laugh for days.
