Does it bother anybody else when..

You try and show one of your friends TWDG and they look at it and say "This is a cartoon, I hate cartoons." Because it HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME!

    Yeah it's hard to get them to play the game. They just assume from the start it's going to be a low-budget game (it maybe was idk) and a cartoon because it looks that way. But when they play the first episode, they realise how good of a story and game it is.

    Yeah, one of my friends won't try it because he say's that the graphics make him nauseous or something. It's basically his way of telling me he is a shallow gamer.

    ITS NOT ABOUT ZOMBIES... exactly. ITS ABOUT THE STORY! They just don't understand and don't know what there missing.... I wanted my sister to get into it but she refused. so I bribed her. I said if you play the whole game and DONT cry at the ending I would give you 50$. and of ours she lost. I said she didn't have to give me anything if she did cry, but she now loves it and pays season 2 without me telling her to. so just bribe the people, even if you don't have the money, its not like your going to need it!

    And one even said 'Elder Scrolls Online' had a better story after I told him it's all about the story

    My uncle who's really into video games played the first two episode. He said he's tired of the whole survival of the fittest in a ZA setting. I can respect that, but I still tried to push him into playing the later chapters. I also tried to recommend it to friends, but they all gave me the dumbest looks when I told that it's unrelated to the TV show.

    Yeah, I hate cartoons because my parents didn't let me watch them when I was growing up, but the The Walking Dead game is amazing, and I hate when people don't even give it a chance to prove itself.

    When I first saw TWDG it was on youtube something like halfway through the first season back then and I thought wtf is this? I didn't know it was an actual game I thought it was just some cartoon thing someone had done on Youtube and called it TheWalkingDead.

    But then months later I heard about the game and realised it was the same thing so I got it and was able to play the whole first season without having to wait for episodes to come out. It was great!

    I think TWDG is not for everyone. I don't even bother showing it to my friends, 'cause half of them aren't gamers and the other half would probably react the way you described. Hell, I don't think I would've ever played this game if hadn't miraculously stumbled into it.

    I tried showing it to one of my friends, and she said it sucked because she couldn't get past the first puzzle in the game. (The parking lot infested with walkers) Some of my other friends enjoy watching me do my second play through of the game, but they won't buy it. I also have one friend who loves The Walking Dead, but won't play the game because "games don't have good stories." I then tried to tell him that the game has a better storyline then the show and comic, but he just says that's because you can make choices.

    I've had a friend decline playing TWD because he says it has too much action and he likes games that make you feel emotional.

    I was like, "Bitch, the hell you on?Do you even know what you're talking about? "

    He loves The Last of Us, interestingly enough, yet he still refuses to give TWD a chance. I don't get it.

    I showed my friend TWD he said: "Cartoon? That's for babies." I dragged him by the collar of his shirt and locked him in room with me, He can't leave until he plays TWD. He did play though, and he never talked about zombie games since then.

    Story of life .My friends thinks I am a little girl for liking anything that has cartoon in it.

    Once I showed TWDG to my cousin 'cause she like that kinda stuff she replied by saying that she hates that shit and that TWD universe is lame.Then she returned to me wanting to play the game 'cause she watched her favorite youtuber played it

    I get that a lot too, but I had one friend who was never a fan of zombies and absolutely hate the Walking Dead, but when I let him play All That Remains for himself, he was just so freaking AMAZED at how good it was. I was slowly converting him to the zombieverse before that as well. :3
