EVER WONDERED WHY LUKE......

was just thinking ,,, why the hell did LUKE never used a gun pistol or rifle though the group had plenty,,,,in e3 he picks up the AK from carver but is reluctant to use it ,,,, after that he tries to pick AK to shoot troy but troy spots him,,,,,,, is it that he doesnt know to use that thing or is it he loves his machette more than anything else ,,,, leave a comment guys

    I noticed he keeps a pistol on his hip, too. I think he knows how to use guns, he just prefers the machete. It's like his Hilda.

    I'm sure there are. I dunno Luke has this kind of hero-complex going on, part of him probably things he's above using guns.

    i mean ,,, from the beginning of the walking dead we have seen many charecters having gun were atleast involved in a shot scene but LUKE here has a pistol and was never involved in a gun shot scene

    It can be that he wants to save ammunition. I mean, not all of us survivors have Hershel's infinite ammo cheat codes.

    I hear people say the 'hero complex' thing with Luke a lot but I'm not sure where it comes from.

    I think it might just be as simple as he's better with a machete. Maybe he's not a good shot.

    Though I think it's strange that Luke seems to dislike violence and chooses an incredibly violent weapon to bring down walkers haha. You have to butcher them with a machete as opposed to a clean gunshot.
