Let's give TT a break guys

I mean sure, compared to last Season when their company first got noticed. They did average 2 hours per espoide. Of course you could aruge that was more in depth and interactive then 90 minutes we get now. You guys are missing the big picture. Do you know how it feels to them?

Imagine how it feels to finaly have sucess, then your rich and you still have to do the same quality of content. Imagine getting your money almost a year in advance. Where they supposed put all that money, it must be so time consuming for them to spend all that money. Can we really be upset if they rather cut their shows in half and work less.

I think the message is we're not feeling bad for TT eough, they have a large sum of money and only a small time to spend it. So cutting their shows in half, giving us the illisuion of a choice when it doesn't really change the story is perfectly accpectable if you don't think about it!

I suggest we ALL throw in extra money to tell tale, perhaps give them five month to work on one eposide that way they can have more time to spend their riches and less with us.

Comments

  • They didn't have to reveal 2 new projects and overwork themselves, if they won't give themselves a break why should we, especially when we are paying their bills
  • I'm okay with people criticizing, I just want them to choose a side already. You can't expect these people working on four games to make a perfect two hours and a half Episode in less than two months, it ain't gonna happen with all the work they've got.

Also, A lot of guys are gonna come at me and say "How about Season 1?". Season 1 was longer, sure. But it got criticized for it's own flaws as well, it wasn't perfect some people just liked it more, and some people like this Season better. Just because the majority thinks the first one was better doesn't mean everyone does. People felt their choices didn't matter and that you had to take the route Telltale wanted you to take no matter what. Lilly fans wanted to leave with her in the RV.

Fans pay for the game so they have EVERY RIGHT to complain. I just hate when I see someone complaining about the Episode being rushed then I see them in the Release Thread demanding Telltale to basically release the next one two weeks later. I've enjoyed this Season so far but I can see why some people haven't.
  • Yeah let's give them a break... Even though they have 1.5 month breaks...

They don't have breaks in between when the episodes are released. The episodes are not completed ahead of time. Telltale really does work on each episode up until the day it is submitted to the console manufacturers for approval (and they work on the PC and Mac versions right up to the day of release).

Yes this point I was making all along glad someone was brave enough to make it but lets add some facts

S1 needed 100,000 sales to break even and sold over 21 million copies in logical terms they could of expanded every feature and made the game 100 times better in s2 not take away keys features in s1 success and yet still have high profit margin..

TLOU sold over 6 million and had over 200 goty wins and bioshock infinite 4 million. Point is console gaming would greatly reduce their market as they sell across all platforms if they improve their games anymore it would restrict their market be unplayable due to high memory so restriction of quality with make them able to expand to even more platforms.

A risk buying GOT or Borderlands?

No if franchises have millions of fans even if you make cheap games with low quality guaranteed massive profit even if it flops so working on so many games with quality dropping doesn't matter as long as cash comes through.

    Feel sorry for telltale?

Nope actually feel sorry for the customers they delay the product make it short with no gameplay plainly disrespect the paying customers with Soon, supersoon etc they failed on their end a simple apologie would be ok don't take the piss out of us never seems to be a delay when paying for the game for the cash to get through. I'm not even going into poor excuses for lack of gameplay and also lack of listening to fans
  • They must change there ideas like 50 times then.

  • As someone who tends to not detect sarcasm right away, I got this one right away. This was really funny, funny but true!XD
  • I would hope this is sarcasm but coming into contact with the majority of people on this board has led me to have my doubts.
