*** overshadowing everyone THEORY
So, I came up with that after seeing a lot of people complaining about the fact that Kenny overshadowed pretty much everyone in the new episode. My theorie is entirely based on a potential Kenny vs Luke choice in episode 5.
To begin with, I will analyse what were the goals of the episodes already out then I will give you my predictions for the upcoming episodes.
201: Reintroduction of Clem and first meeting with the Cabin group and Luke.
202: Kenny's reintroduction. Kenny vs Luke rivalry begins (dinner table).
203: This episode was meant to be Kenny's episode. Kenny had a lot more character development compared to everyone else and was this episode's hero. At the same time, the Kenny vs Luke rivalry is growing stronger (Kenny or Luke's plan, wanting to kill or spare Carver ) .This episode's goal was to make us like Kenny (even) more and to show Luke's flaws ( and it is a total success from what I've seen ).
So, that was my interpretation of 201,202, and 203. Now, I am going to tell you my predictions for the upcomings episodes.
204: Kenny had his episode, now it's Luke's time to shine. Luke will be the hero in this one and will have more development and screentime, this time, he will be the one overshadowing Kenny. Speaking of Kenny, this episode will show his flaws like in 203 did with Luke. This episode's goal will be to make us care about Luke and like him more while showing (reminding) us Kennyn flaws. As always, the rivalry grows even stronger.
205: Luke and Kenny both had their own episodes and development, they will butt heads often and you will have to take a side. Then, at the end of the episode, THE decision, ice-cream or pizza? Luke or Kenny? If the writer of the previous episode did a good job, it will be a very tough decision. I know that Kenny was in more episodes than Luke but I think that Telltale is using the fact that the community is divided about Kenny, some of us love him while the others hate him and Luke is pretty much the anti-Kenny, they differ in everything. So, I still think that Luke has a chance against him.
So, anyway, this was my theorie. I'm sorry if it's not clear enough, don't hesitate to ask questions, I will do my best to answer you. Feel free to give me your opinion as well :)

For me the character who has developed the most is Sarah. A lot may perceive her to be little more than a whingeing brat, but the last two episodes have hurtled her far forward than any other character. She was ripped straight from the bubble Carlos had tucked her away in and lost pretty much everything that was important to her by the end of In Harm's Way.
In another thread I mentioned that I think Kenny got the extra development in episode 3 so people who didn't play season 1 can get an attachment to him. I just wish the characterization of the rest of the cabin group didn't suffer because of that. It really does seem like they will focus on this "Luke vs Kenny" thing.
Also I agree about Sarah, I'm glad they continue to focus on her a bit each episode, she's an interesting character to me.
give more time to rebecca as well, and all the new people. Jesus, give some time for nick as well, i want it to mean something that i got him saved!
also pls telltale, bring christa back..she is amazing and i really want her and clem together again
And it does seem that they will focus more on Kenny and Luke ( and Sarah I think ) while other characters die without development *cough*carlos*cough* :(
For me S2.3 Kenny bought back more of S1 Kenny (both good -loyalty to family/Clem- and bad - anger & rushing into things without thinking things through-) My Clem suggested they do both plans as it seemed like the best idea and told Kenny not to kill Carver (tie him up instead) because as hated as he is, he's still a living person and that felt like the right choice -especially for a 11 year old girl- to make. She also walked away when he did. Even Sarita said that's not the Kenny she knows!
Kenny has a lot of loyal fans already though and I feel while some like both characters, Kenny is always going to come out on top. Personally for me, it's Luke all the way. (Sorry Ken)
I would however like to see more character development for Luke and the newer characters though and I really hope we haven't seen the last of Crista. I liked Omid more, but seeing as he's no longer around "sniff" and Crista looked after us for 16+ months, it would be nice to see she's still alive and be reunited.
Personally I love both characters equally. I actually have two separate save files, one when I'm Team Kenny and one where I'm Team Luke... just in case we have to decide between them, so I can do both.
I also think the overshadowing was for those who didn't play S1 in order to make Kenny more prominent for them, even if they didn't have interaction with him in S1. Whether you love him or hate him, their goal I think was to flesh out a character some people might not have known.
One thing I think may happen is the trust question coming up again. Episode 3 right at the beginning Kenny asks Clem if she trusts him. If Episode 4 gives more focus on Luke then I could very well see at some point him asking the very same to Clem.
Plus the way Kenny just asks that question, it feels more important than just them having to escape the truck.
