Do you prefer TWD or TWAU?

For me, it's the walking dead hands down. The Wolf Among Us did look quite interesting to me, but I could never really get into it in the same manner as I did with TWD.

  • TWAU is good, but I honestly don't care much about the characters and haven't had a reason to cry at any deaths... so TWDG for sure.

I will have to go with the popular opinion here, TWDG without a doubt, I love TWAU but there is something special about TWDG, i'm a lot more emotionally invested in it thats for sure.
  • Currently, I'm enjoying Wolf Among Us more
  • TWD > TWAU
    TWD2 = TWAU
  • The Walking Dead
  • i like zombie apocalypse so twd all the ways
  • Only telltale game I play is The Walking Dead
  • One does simply not choose between those.
  • I enjoy The Wolf Among Us and certainly love its aesthetic, but I feel more engaged with The Walking Dead. The Wolf Among Us has interesting characters, but none that are as heartfelt as some of the cast in The Walking Dead.
  • TWD = Coca Cola
    TWAU = Generic Cola
  • For me twd s1 blows twau out of the water
But twd s2 kinda suck for me so far
So im more satisfied with twau after 3 ep of each series
  • In comparison to TWD S2 I feel like TWAU story is more focused and consistent so far.

That said, TWD will always be my weak spot.
  • Ask me this after a TWD episode comes out: TWD
Ask me this after a TWAU episode comes out: TWAU

Overall though, I'm more invested in Clem and co.
  • (?) Clem and co will remember this.

    TWD

Episode 1 of TWAU blows away episode 1 of season 2 of TWD
But episodes 2&3 of TWD are much better than 2&3 of TWAU

IM not a big fan of all the fake button prompts in TWAU. Many times, the same things happen whether you press them or not.
  • Lol yep, I sat my controller down during they alley scene and it didn't change anything until you start fighting back.

  • the walking dead.
  • You realise this is the TWD section, right?
  • there both different types of stories. i enjoy my noire mystery stories. so wolf appeals to me more but i do enjoy walking dead as well.
  • I like them both they offer something different and since they cycle you always got something to look forward to each month.

    cool. but to me

    TWD>>>>>>>>>>TWAU
    TWD2>>>>>TWAU

    TWD > TWAU TWD2 = TWAU

  • You are asking this on TWD area of the forums, so expect a lot of walking dead fans. Me, I like TWAU! It lived up to the hype so far and the only downside is the fact that it took ages for episodes to release. Other than that, the game is a gem. Its beautiful colours, better graphic, better voice acting (some walking dead voice sounds like they just chucked in some random dude) and story.

Season One of TWD is better than TWAU in my opinion. So far I think TWAU is better than Season Two of TWD though.
  • That's why I'm glad they are not restricting themselves to working on one game at a time. You get more variety.

  • Nah im still on the boat that they SHOULD only work on 1 game at a time i prefer quality over quantity.

Even though I think TWAU is of better quality than season two of TWD, I never seem to go over to the TWAU forum to discuss the game. So, TWD.
  • TWD hands down
  • Ehhhh..you do know you are posting this in the TWD section right? (potential bias alert)
  • I honestly am liking TWAU better than TWD2. TWAU is just more focused and I feel like the decision making is more engaging than what TWD2 has been doing.
  • I like them both but prefer TWD.
  • I have to protest you referring to the Fables Universe as generic.

  • Well, there are more fan bases than just that one. It would benefit you but no one else.

  • It will benefit everyone if TTG focused on a single game at a time as this will increase the quality of the game's story.

  • Definitely prefer TWD, but I do like TWAU as well.
  • Not if you are not a fan of that particular game. What are those people going to play while they are perfecting their craft on The Walking Dead? Im all for quality but I dont believe you have to choose one over the other. I greatly enjoy both series and wouldnt want to give up one for the other.

  • TWD, but I'm starting to get into TWAU.
  • Well if you like it how it is then that's cool but I just think that they should just do one at a time.
