How come Reggie didn't mention Nick's mom?

    She might have died before the group left carvers the first time.

    They tried to take care of someone, you can't do that in a closed community, meaning she escaped with them and died in the cabin.

    She probably died before Nick and Luck went to Carvers community

    She died BEFORE they joined Carver's Community. I believed it was a plot hole too but was proven wrong.
