I sided with Kenny the entire game but saved Ben and he hates me

I just did a Kenny playthru and I wanted to see how he reacted if I saved Ben and now after everything I've done for him, he doesn't like me because I saved Ben. That's really stupid, Telltale...I'm sorry but come on...One choice and I piss him off? Really?

    I wonder if there is any sort of random chance involved with this. This same exact thing happened to me on my latest play through.

    The game also crashed shortly thereafter and the save slot became unplayable. Clearly my Xbox just couldn't handle the disappointment.

    Kind of ridiculous considering I helped him murder a man, fed him and his damn family, told him the truth about me, left Lilly on the side of the road, put Duck out of his misery, sided with him all the time, and just because I saved Ben, he hates me. Does Telltale realize that that could potentially ruin his character? And come 'A House Divided' people would really hate him for the betrayal? Lol

    I normally save Larry because that's what I would do in real life but this time I killed Larry and I was almost positive Kenny would give me the bro speech but here I am at the end of Episode 4 and he acts like I'm his damn enemy. That's almost a 180 in his character. If he said that to me, I would've shot him on the spot.

    I kind of want the bro speech though because if I hear him even somewhat badmouthing to Clementine about Lee in season 2, I would be so pissed. Plus Kenny reminds me of a friend of mine in real life that I can't help but like. He would never betray me over saving someone's life either. If he wanted Ben dead so much he should've killed him himself.

The entire game I kissed his ass and now I get this. I definitely would've Lilly'd his ass right on the spot. In fact, I just said 'Go f**k yourself'.

    How did you vote when they're discussing wether or not to leave Ben behind? Maybe that has something to do with it.
    I could see Kenny being pissed off if you decide to leave Ben behind, but then not having the balls to drop him.

    Trust me i felt the same way, when i played it the first time, after all the things i did for him, making him stop the train peacefully, shooting Duck, you would think he would have our back and save Clementine. Its not like he is saving Lee, he is asked to save a 9 year old girl.

    If you don't shoot Beatrice in Episode 3, i wonder if Kenny will dis you. ,

    I voted to leave him behind but there wasn't the choice to say I'm going to straight up murder him. Christ, we could've just let Ben at the mansion. Should I change my choice to abstain?

    I'm not sure if it makes a difference but it seems like Kenny is the super controlling type. His way or the highway.

    I dunno, I've never abstained in that situation. And it's just a wild guess that the vote has anything to do with it.


    Leaving Ben is pretty much a death sentence, no way he'd have survived on his own.

    Same here. I didn't take the food from the car, told Ben he could stay on the boat, plus pulled him up in the bell tower, and still got the bro-speech.

    I fought him on the train because I wanted Lee to have a little scuff in his journeys. Does that affect it? I apologized to him and then killed Duck.

    Did you save Duck at the farm and side with Kenny in the pharmacy? Because I know those two play a huge role in how he views you.
