Um, actually no. Telltale wanted to make the story about Clementine and her brother, and us controlling her brother. But since there was already a relationship connection, they made it a complete stranger, Lee, to control. Clementine was ONE of the main characters, who if she died, it was a game over. Along with Lee.
Nop. Even in season 1. The people who made this game wanted us to play as Clementine in the first place but they realized that she was too y… moreoung to survive by herself... so they made Lee to be the one who will take care of her and to teach her how to survive. The story was all about Clementine growing and surviving. You can search to see how Telltale made this game. It will make you say "woooow".
Clementine was the first character made, and the first idea. BUT, Lee was the main character who we had to play as in order to PROTECT Clementine. You're half right, Clementine is the main character, but Lee was too. If she died in a non-cannon death, it's game over. If Lee died in a non-cannon death, it's game over. They're BOTH the main characters.
"facepalm". They wanted to make Clementine the main character in the first place.Omg.....'Though Lee Everett is the character you control in… more The Walking Dead, he wasn’t the character that the game is built around. “Clementine was literally the first idea,” says Vanaman, who planned Episode Fives’s outcome before writing a single line of dialogue. Lee Everett wasn’t Telltale’s first idea for a main character. Originally, Vanaman planned for Clementine to come from a single-parent household where Clementine’s brother took care of her due to her mother not being up for the task. With this idea, Clementine’s brother became the lead, but Vanaman decided a pre-existing relationship would be too much to ask a player to take on in The Walking Dead world. It is her story all along". So.....what is complete nonsense?
Thanks for completely changing what I said to suit your insult.
"they didn't have a need for Carver anymore." Like seriously, are they gonna keep him alive? What's gonna happen in episode 4 if he was? There was no point in him surviving.
And I said "Trust me" to the fact that Telltale has money, and can afford high profile VA's.
So, like I said, thanks for completely changing what I stated, just so you can make a pathetic insult. So, tell me. Where's your logic now?
Funny, I don't have a Tumblr account, nor do I want one. I didn't make the picture either. And your profile picture? A dying fictional dog, made of pixels? lmao, go back to wasting your life trying to figure out decent insults.
Yeah, but it's BECAUSE he's a famous actor, he's bringing in HIS fans from previous jobs, into The Walking Dead. Getting Telltale more money. And besides, we need to know more about Luke.
"Of course everyone is at risk of dying" Did you not read what I wrote? Did you seriously not read what I wrote. I know Telltale is perfectly able to kill off a character, they made the fucking game. Hell, they killed Omid off. Considering they were both determinate in the first episode, it was still the first episode. It was to cause tension in the games release and how the episode is going to be a "mind puzzle".
I never said they couldn't state their opinion. I even said "I'm not saying you can't be irritated by characters." All I did was point out him being a hypocrite in his opinion. I didn't say they couldn't have one. Stop putting words in peoples mouths.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Telltale said that by the time 400 Days came out they had sold over a million copies of the game. 25 x 1000000= 25000000 so they got the money just fine before Porter came in.

How was my first sentences hypocritical? All I said is I don't think a character being attractive and having a lot of fangirls is a good reason for them not dying. I don't think that means they're "safe" from getting killed in the next episode. And then I stated my opinion about that character having a hoard of fangirls and how it doesn't exactly make me hope they are safe from dying.
I'm not saying you can't be irritated by characters. I was basically summing up those first few sentences, that's why I said "you're basically saying..". All I did was point out you being a hypocrite.
lol.
A higher profile actor is LESS likely to have an open-ended long term commitment, you dumbass.
"BUT HE'S CUTE AND BRINGS IN F… moreANGIRLS!!!"
Yeah Telltale's really aiming to bring in the tween Bratz demographic with their nihilistic Rated-M franchise.
Jesus.
Scott Porter's fame won't protect him
Michael Madsen is way more famous, and his character was killed of like nothing. And no, being an… more antagonist doesn't mean you're bound to die.
And why would him being a fangirl magnet save him from being killed off? I bet Lee had more fans. And Kenny too (although about Kenny we're still pretty divided)
Sorry, but your arguments are not proving Luke's survival.
In the first few lines of what you said before, I basically summed up what you said. You're right, you stated your opinion, I just pointed out the hypocrisy in it.

They did because it was the first fucking episode. It was a way to introduce the game as a really great game, and get more people interested in it. Luke's situation is completely different from Carley/Doug.

I'd point out that's a straw-man and misrepresentation of my argument but you've pretty much admitted you're a shitty poster and left this thread in shame so...
I mean there isn't any drama to work off of at all. No new antagonists, no trouble with-in the group, no walkers, no pregnancies, or missing limbs, or missing members, or bites, or injuries. Nope not at all.

I honestly don't know how you are looking at those sentences and are coming to the conclusion you are drawing. There is legitimately no hypocrisy in them. Just..wow.

Sorry it's just that you're just a really shitty poster who's only contribution to threads is passive-aggressive horseshit that, at best, serve as set ups for put downs.

...In the basement.
Yeah, that was fucking bad. I'll be leaving now.
What should I make of this?
