Tell me, what would you do if you were carrying some girl you found getting attacked by zombies in the woods, who is evidently dazed and on the verge of passing out, and discovered she had a bite mark on her arm?
Although he overreacted the guy was just in shock and she was bitten. It's not like she was going to turn that very second but I guess it's a surprise. Still, I'm sure you could criticize him for a number of other things but you chose that?
You're ridiculing people that understand that Luke dropping Clem was in the heat of the moment and you're trying to induce Luke hate. I don't think someone who doesn't hate a character would do that.
That was a reasonable and completely understandable reaction of seeing a bite mark on her. Anybody in the right mind would instantly try to avoid a person who is bitten. Even if she w as bitten by a walker though, she was showing no symptoms, so Luke overreacted and did a reasonable thing at the same time.
Luke dropped her because he was scared he would get bit.
Kenny refuses to help rescue her from a madman if you don't help him murder Larry.
I think I know which deed is worse.
Wasn't it mentioned in the series that some people turned into walkers much quicker than others?
After having Nick's mom be bitten, and the scare that gave them, I think I would've dropped Clem like a rock too if I found out she was bitten and might turn at any second. I mean by that point they don't know who the hell she is, she's not exactly feeling well and was just rescued her from some walkers. A little kid blaming a bite on a dog in the middle of the woods would sound fishy to anyone.
Well it was a little annoying. I don't think Pete would have dropped Clem if he was the one carrying her. Luke should know that people turn into zombies after death, not before but well he isn't really brave after all. I don't blame him for this.
you sure are good at looking into the feelings of a virtual character. If she was badly hurt by it, it really didn't show much. She herself didn't seem to care that much. Now the lockup in the shed, on the other hand...THAT's where she seemed to be really upset with all of them. But Luke dropping her? Didn't seem that way.
I agree that he was startled by the bite but he didn't accidently drop her. He dropped her on purpose. Which is what any sane person would do if they thought the person they were carrying was bitten by a zombie. People that like Luke shouldn't pretend that dropping her was an accident and people that hate Luke shouldn't act like dropping her was heartless. Dropping her was a perfectly sane and realistic thing to do.
She takes things well, but regardless of how well she takes it, you don't think it hurt her to hit the ground? And you don't think it hurt her to be smacked and hit and thrown around? Hell even if she totally brushed it off without even making a face, the fact is it still hurt her. Just because she's tough doesn't mean she feels nothing. If you think about it she never even gets much time to react, after she got dropped, the focus immediately went to her having to explain in panic that she was bitten by a dog, not a walker, she had no time to do anything except for make a face showing she was in pain from hitting the ground. But the fact that every time she got slapped or hit she would hold her face or visibly look like she was in pain shows that it doesn't matter if she can take it, it doesn't matter if she gets right back up, these things still hurt her incredibly bad. So yes what you said is true, that she's a big girl, she can take it, but that doesn't stop the hits and abuse from hurting her, so I just don't know how you can say you didn't care all because she seems to take things well.

She was bitten. i know this might seem strange to you, but believe it or not in a zombie apocalypse where zombie bites turn people into zombies, when someone sees a bite on someone's arm they're probably going to get a little scared.
And do you remember how Luke covered Clementine's body with his own the bridge to protect her from getting shot? Remember how Luke was under the ladder at the ski lodge in-case she fell? Remember how he gave her food? Remember how he took the time to talk to Clementine at the dinner table? Yeah, do you remember that? Wow.
