When was the group the strongest?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
At the end of which episode do you think the group was the strongest?

Was it S1 E2? Good shooters and Kaatja with medical knowledge could be very important...but on the other hand you have Ben and Lee/Kenny/Lilly not getting along so well...

Maybe S2 E2? You have Carlos who is a doctor and everybody is getting pretty much along; But here you have Rebecca who might not be able to defend herself in dangerous situations...

I'd love to hear what you think :)

  • Probably S1 E1. They had good numbers and capable people. But you're right about episode 2. They were taught how to shoot. That adds up a lot. Specially against humans.
  • Halfway through S1E1 at the drugstore maybe.

Y'got yer Doug, yer Carley, yer Glenn, yer charmin' Larry and Kenny before depression hit. The biggest liabilities, Larry and Duck, all had their pluses anyway.
  • Probably the group in S1 E2 they had good shooters and of people with lots of potential.
The group in S2 is a "Dogshit group of crippled fucks"
  • Ironically, that statement is even more true depending on the decision you made at the end.

  • Before ep 2.
We had Lee, Mark, Kenny, Katjaa, Larry, and Lilly. Everyone had a role and there was plenty of food from Mark.
  • In all your gravatars there's always a person with a shocked look on their face.

  • Season 1 episode 1 for sure.
  • It's a great theme.

  • I'm surprised people think the S1 group was stronger. Nobody trusted each other, they had two kids and it was largely dysfunctional because of the leadership struggle. In Clem's own words "We all tried to make it but... it didn't work".
  • Yeah but back in ep 1 they had both Carley and Doug AND they had Glenn, plus all the others and they weren't arguing so much back then.

  • I think S2 E2. They had numbers, but also in season 1 not everyone were as experienced. You have to remember that in S2 the people in the group would have survived the apocalypse for a long time by then.
  • I'd say the group that went to Crawford.
  • I'd say the beginning of Starved for Help. They had walls set up and everything, Mark was alive, etc.
