    I wouldn't say shes her mother.

    She's kinds like her... mentor, or something like that.

    I think Jane just knows what she is doing and cares for clem and wants her to live, so she's is going to test her to see how much she knows, and probably going to teach her some new things.

    Probably, but I won't say that she is her "mother". I would say she is her mentor, teacher, or guardian (not sure).
