Iwi means tribe in Maori, but it's also the name for a group of kiwis (the bird) the word tribe of kiwis was originaly used, then people realised how much better an iwi of kiwis sounded to a tribe of kiwis. And don't feel bad about saying that people expect something for nothing. Most people do that, not just the aborigines. Any system that rewards someone for simply being born a particular type of person is going to be taken advantage of. We see it here with the Maoris too, but if it was us in that position we would probably try and get every free thing we could as well.
Isn't iwi usually referring to Maori's? We don't really have the same sort of relationship with our indigenous population unfortunately. I'm… more not racist, but a lot of aborigines are...... I'm not sure how to put this, a little, rough? A lot of them expect everything for nothing! Unfortunately a lot of the "half-casts" aren't accepted by white Australians or the full blood aborigines :(
"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover."
Not a perfect representation of our culture, but there it is :)
Yeah! I'm from Tacoma, WA, it's really ghetto but we may be moving to the outskirts of Seattle when I get back to the United States. I'll see you at the top!
I always thought the term "Kiwi" was supposed to offend the people of New Zealand, but then I went to a NATO base and noticed all of their fucking uniforms had a Kiwi emblem on it.
the problem is, we have a lot of gamers are not good enough in English to play TWD, so i hope Telltale release an arabic versions of their games and their community, so that Telltale games will become more popular in the arabic countries.
Isis and Jabhat al-nusra? No i'm a lover, not a fighter :P. Actually i have been living in exile for almost 28 years now. Best of luck to those brave souls defending their homes against ISIS and Jabhat al-nusra.
There are so many hackers in the Arabic Community the way they hack and root all those Android phones, you'd Think that at least one of them would be able to translate a game until something official comes out. And Arabic is a huge language there are like 130 million Arabs or so.
