Is it possible to kill a walker by drowning it?

I have wondered about this for a while. but do you guys think it possible?

I've never read the comics or seen the show, so I don't know if this has already been tackled before, but I f anyone has the answer, Id love to know.

    I don't think so, in the show the governor kills some dude, i don't remember his name, and chained him to a rock, then he threw him into a lake and in the end of the ep the walker is just trying to reach him.

    No the BRAIIIIIN needs to be destroyed or they still live they can walk through fire.

    Walkers don't breath. So, anything that kills us doesn't kill them. Minus a bullet to the brain.

    no. in the show the governot kills someone, put cement on there feet and then came back later and he was a zombie under water.

    I think they do breath actually. I just don't think they need to breath to keep walking.

    In the show when Amy dies, Andrea heard Amy breathing when she came back.

    I was just wondering, but say we add a variable. Like, I zombie has a slightly exposed brain. If water got into the brain. would it affect the Walker? Another thing is how if our brain was exposed to air, I would eventually shrivel up and die like a dead flower. So I wanted to see the thoughts of other people.

    The walking dead TV show proves walkers do not drown in water, The prove is when the govenor kills Mitch's brother and throes the body in a lake.

    The governor looks down at the lake and the walker look's up while waving its arm, I like this scene
