Yea and I don't understand why people were talking crap on Duck. He was a great kid. Kenny's rant on Duck made me sad. He called Duck stupid that's messed up to say about your lost son. I'd say Duck and Sarah have the same personality. They both aren't allowed to do certain things and always get in trouble.

Seriously though, I'm tired of people being so hard on someone who hasn't adapted to the way the world is but when Ben does something stupid most people go "oh but he's just a kid". Sarah handles herself well for being so sheltered from the apocalypse, if it was me walking through the herd instead of her I would lose my sh*t and get eaten, even though she panicked she still kept quiet until her father died right in front of her eyes. (which, let's be honest, totally natural) The thing with her is that if Carlos hadn't kept her away from these things she would most probably get used to them, Sarah isn't stupid or useless as most seem to believe, she's actually pretty brave too she even stood up for Clem when Carver was being a d*ck to her. Given the time and chance she has the potential to be awesome imo. Hopefully we'll see that in the future.

Damn right, Sarah's a sweetheart. She's a rare breed. When she said "I don't know why people have to be so mean... Even when I'm really mad, I still don't want to hurt anyone..." Sarah proved that she has a heart of gold. Telltale better have some kind of happy times planned for her future. I will be livid if Sarah is killed off before her broken heart is sutured.

I got hella pissed when I watched some people laugh at Sarah getting hit... the only reactions to the situation that I liked were CinnamonToastKen's reaction, Yogscast Hannah's reaction, and Cryaotic's reaction, because those are the only ones I remember not laughing or smiling at her getting smacked. Sorry that this is out of character for me, because i'm (usually) nice... but holy fuck, I hope each person who laughed at Sarah getting hit feels pain in the near future...

It's such a relief to me that she can never know of all the mean things that have been said about her, can you imagine how badly some of the hateful things that have been said would hurt her feelings? I just love her and I hope her and Clem have a long hug. If Clem weren't so tough I think Sarah could have been a comfort figure for Clem, someone Clem would always go to when she's upset and to be held or cheered up. I always picture Sarah doing something like that, holding Clem if Clem needed to cry, but Clem is so damn hardened that won't ever happen.
That line stuck with me as well, also reminded me of how ironic it is that a lot of players want her dead, despite her having nothing but good intentions.

Yeah in the end I realise her haters don't matter, since in her reality she just has Clem, who is going to understand and care for her and give her a long sneak-hug. Haha Sarah probably could've been that to season 1 Clementine but Clem had to go and become extremely mature for her age really quickly. Now it's more likely that it'd be Clem holding Sarah to cheer her up. But who knows, Clem IS holding a lot of pain in... it'd be pretty beautiful if towards the end she just breaks down from everything she's been holding in and if Clem was there for Sarah when she needed it, then Sarah will return the favour and comfort Clem.

But yeah, fuck all this hate. Sarah is any cool Clem's best friend. A… morend I'd say she plays a very important role. In a world filled with evil people like Carver and where even one's own group members can fall into pretty grey areas, Sarah is still innocent. That gives Clem somebody to want to protect and teach to be strong. Someone who will help her retain her humanity, which is at times perhaps at risk of slipping, after the ordeal of Carver and the influence of skull-bashing Kenny.

On a side note, I really dislike when people write off certain behaviors as some kind of medical problem with someone. For example, some kids diagnosed with slight ADD might actually be normal and just more prone to getting off topic than others. To me the same goes for Sarah, I think she's a normal and perfectly healthy kid with some anxiety problems, but I wouldn't go so far as to say she has autism/aspies. As for what was actually discussed, I completely agree that she gets way too much hate for being considered a pansy.

It's a novel. I read it a few years ago. It's about a kid who is sheltered because they is a child limit and the family has too many children, so he stays in his house all day. There's an entire series I think.
Maybe if Sarah was sitting like she was in the greenhouse Clem would have a slightly easier time? Damn, this is why they both need to survive for years, so that Clementine can one day not be dwarfed by Sarah and have an easier time holding her.

When we are first introduced to Sarah, I always assumed that Carlos was hinting at autism. I like the fact we're left to draw our own conclusion as it adds another dimension to not only Sarah, but the choices we make regarding her. I don't find her annoying - far from it, I feel somewhat protective over her the way my Lee was naturally protective over Clem as his own young charge. Sarah's problem, I feel, is that she contrasts dramatically with several tough female characters around her -- and if people generally believe that Clementine can develop a thick skin during the apocalypse, then there's little excuse for Sarah not to either.
Watch this space, though. I think Sarah is going to be one of the most defined, developed characters this season and integral to Clementine's story by the end.
