Suggestion for Clem/Nick dialogue in ep. 4
(NOTE: I put together this speech in response to the criticism directed towards Nick's inconsistent behaviour between episodes 2 and 3.)
NICK: Don't tell anybody else this, but...ever since Walter stopped that lurker from taking a bite out of my neck, I've felt...weird. Like I've been floating on a cloud or something. Maybe I was supposed to die that day, I don't know. It's like I've cheated fate somehow. I used to think we're all fucked one way or another, but now? Now I feel like things are actually going to get better. Maybe not for you or me, but...for people, you know? For human beings. Like all this evil bullshit going on is just a passing thing, and there's a light at the end of the tunnel. It might be a long ways off, but we'll get there one day. Anyway...thanks for hearing me out, Clem.
