Do they add babies just to kill them?

Ok so why does telltale even think about adding babies when they are just gonna kill them out?! They made Christa pregnant and killed her baby and Rebeccc is pregnant and might have the same outcome. Maybe for that reason, it will live

    I realy hope that Rebbecas baby will survive, it will make the story (and in particular episode5) alot more interesting!

    Imagine a baby screaming and crying. Imagine not having a new diaper, or a diaper at all. No formula, baby food, or warm blankets.

    Having a baby's gonna suck.

    No the reason telltale adds a babys in the walking dead is to make the game more realistic, gives the player Horror/fear for the babys survival and also the baby will attract walkers as the baby Cries/screams.

    The baby can make it with Clem. Interesting... Clem with a baby in her arms. She can't gonna die beacuse of the baby. She must take care of her. Luke and Kenny would be good friends because of the baby. The baby can change the whole group life. And we have a Bonnie. We need that baby!!!

    Until Rebecca's baby dies, we can't really say that TTG does this. But, like you said, I think that, because Christa's baby didn't make it, Rebecca's will.

    The baby could bring us a little happy things in this game. But could bring us very sad moments too.

    Just a few funny cute moment: Luke try put to sleep the baby, but he can't. Clem: Luke, give it to me, i show you how to make it.

    Or Luke and Kenny give cold milk to the baby, but Clem show up: Hey, the baby need hot milk! And then Clem smiles. Luke and Kenny swung their heads sadly.

    This thing not so realistic in the ZA, but would be funny. :)

    I can imagine Kenny making silly faces to the baby like a pirate face(all he needs is just his eyepatch and there we go), making the baby either cry or laugh.

    It's realistic to have pregnant characters. With a lack of condoms/birth control as well as people having sex due to the desperateness of their situation, women are going to conceive. Starvation, stress, high-impact exercise, and certain preexisting medical conditions can cause miscarriages. If the baby is born, the odds aren't in favor of it surviving. Any problems during the birth, like the baby in an incorrect position or having its umbilical cord wrapped around its neck, might kill the baby if no experienced doctor is available. C sections will probably kill the mother, whose milk the baby needs to live. In fact, if any of the mothers die the baby will immediately require a surrogate post-pregnancy woman to nurse from or formula, both which I'd imagine are hard to come by. And of course, babies are notoriously loud and their cries will attract walkers. So it only makes sense that babies will have a tough time surviving.
